It was sun-high, Rosefur sat with the kits telling them the Great Firestar's story when a large badger entered the camp. "BADGER!" Rosefur yelled. The kits ran off except for Darkkit. "DARKKIT!" Meadowfall yowled, her eyes pouring out a stream. All of Riverclan's warriors were neck & neck in battle with the badger. Suddenly the badger escaped and went for Darkkit. "NO!" Rosefur yowled scratching the Badger's tail. "Goodbye Rosefur." Darkkit said knowing that death was on her shoulder. "Goobye Darkkit, Hello Darkpaw!" Rosefur retorted. Darkkit winked at Rosefur and smiled briefly. Darkkit slashed the badger's nose, eye , and tail. It took Darkkit's eye and then retreated. "MY BABY!" Meadowfall yowled in sorrow. Lavenederbloom padded out of the medicine den with herbs and cobwebs galore. "This is manageable," "She will never become a warrior though." Said Lavenderbloom bandaging Darkkit's injuries. Darkkit awoke to Rosefur's voice say "is she awake?" "I think so," "is this to tell her about you mentoring her Rosefur?" "Orangestar told me to tell her the news." "she is awake Rosefur." Lavenderbloom said ending their discussion.
