It had been one moon since Starfoot expressed her worry. Rosefur had told Starfoot about meeting Gigi her Clawclan sibling, Starfoot would opt to go with her. On the way to see Gigi, Starfoot said playfully "Have you been taking food from twoleg nests?" She was staring at Rosefur's large stomach. Rosefur blushed "Er.......no." Rosefur was in awe at how rude Starfoot was. As they approached, Gigi smirked. "Look girls, for our information you pay a price!" "I'll tell you as you leave." Gigi yowled. "Listen up Gigi," "If anything happens back at camp, if this is a secret attack I SWEAR I'LL RIP YOUR LUNGS OUT!" Rosefur threatened her. "Clawclan is planning to attack next week," "They are even training kittens- Er as you clan cats say kits!" Starfoot and Rosefur looked at eachother. "Oh...and this was a secret attack." Gigi laughed as she ran away. Rosefur and Starfoot tried to catch her but could not, so they caught prey and headed back to camp. As they entered through the brambles by the entrance they heard Lavenderbloom scream. Rosefur dropped the rabbit dangling from her mouth as she remembered Gigi's words. 'This was a secret attack.' rang in her head as she ran toward Lavenderbloom. Lavenderbloom was clutched onto a limp Orangestar. "They killed him in one shot!" Lavenderbloom cried. "Orangestar is dead!" she wailed alerting the clan. "Dead!" Silverpaw & Graypaw squeaked. "Orangestar?! Dead!" Meadowfall screamed. "Streamclaw is our new leader!" Mixedfur yelled from the warrior's den. Rosefur clutched Orangestar's body and cried, the one who brought her in had left. She was alone now. No real, caring parents.
