"I'm a genin now!" "Yeah! Way to go!" "Yeah!" All 15 genins were congratulationing each other. "So," Xion started, sliding his body towards his best friend, Honobi. "How was your test?" He asked.
"It went well," She paused, turning the page in her book "After all, Aburames are the best fighters." Her face stayed emotionless. She heard her inner self screaming at her 'YOU IDOITIC GIRL! YOU JUST HURT OUR CRUSH'S FEELINGS!' It screamed.
She had her eyes closed tightly, trying to get her inner self to shut up. "Honobi." A soft voice spoke, making her hands on the book loosen a bit. A hand was placed on her book, weighing it down so it fell from her grasp. "Honobi, you did pass right?" The Galminaze boy whispered.
Her heart was racing, her breathing had picked up and her head began to spin. 'He.. He's so close!!' She yelled at herself. "Yes. I passed but I got hurt because I'm weak and not a good ninja-" She was rudely interrupted when he started bursting "Don't you go saying that! You're a great ninja! You have so much talent! You can track faster then any Inuzuka hound! You can use jutsu better than me!," He started naming off all her qualities till he got to one that made her heart swell "Finally, you are the sweetest girl I've ever met."
She giggled, hiding her blushing cheeks from his view "T-Thanks Xion." She whispered. He smiled "No problem!"
"Eek!," His mother jumped down from the tree branch she was perked on, lurking, tackling her son's best friend from the sitting position to the ground. "Oh my Kami! Where have they been hiding you? You're so adorable ya know? You're such a good girl Honobi!" She yelled, squeezing the girl to the ground.
"MOM!?" The Galminaze boy shouted, his voice squeaking. "I love this one! I want her on my team! EIJI! We need to have more missions together!" She yelled at the poor smushed girl's sensi.
"Alright Hokage-sama. But you can't pay us." He whispered, the needle within his mouth moving. "I'm the Hokage! I can do whatever I please!" She barked.
"Xion-kun! Come on!" The oldest Inuzuka yelled at her teammate. "Coming, Chamonix-chan!" He replied, taking off in her direction.
'Now, I have no shot with Xion-kun.' She thought sadly.
