TARO'S POV:

"I should have been careful." I said to the grumpy, walking volcano sitting across me, who was glaring daggers at me ready to erupt at any given moment.
"It was my mistake this time. Umm....Sorry."

With Zeke, it was always better to apologize first whenever I am in the wrong. That way, he would be less angry with me.
Zeke is the type of person who can get really scary when he is angry. What's more undeniable is the fact that his reasons for getting angry is always strong. When Zeke is in the wrong he takes criticism without any complain but when he is wronged he goes hysteric.
He is the type of person who doesn't look back once they walk away.

Like...

"So what do you plan to do after You quit? Stop glaring at me like that and tell me your plans." Clearing my throat I evaded my eyes from Zeke's. It was intimidating to look him in the eye right now.

Zeke stared at me with a serene gaze. He shifted his eyes elsewhere, as if falling into a deep thought before those serene eyes refocused on me. Then he let out a small sigh.
"I will work from home. For now I will just do whatever I want on my own. Working in a publishing company is annoying."

"Alone? Count me in. I am your editor so whenever I have free time I will come over." I offered myself at his service to ease his troubles.

"Hm." Was all I got from him.

I looked at Zeke. Thinking back, that guy....Junta... "He doesn't seem like a bad person. Why didn't you give it a try?" Something outrageous slipped out of my tongue.

SHIT!!

I froze. That was the worst thing I could say right now to an angry person. My eyes wavered, unable to look at the expression Zeke must be making right now. Too bad, I had already said it so I had to look at his face. Surprisingly when I did, his face was calm. It wasn't red with annoyance or anger.

He side eyed me replying, "Taro."
He said.
"I can be in the same room with someone I hate, but I can't be in the same room with someone who makes me feel ice cold uncomfortable."

Ahh....

"I see." I thought to myself. If it's discomfort then maybe what I see is not everything. For Zeke, his hatred comes with a reason.
Perhaps that guy called Junta and he has a certain history between them.

*RATTLE*

The loud sound of tables crashing down on the floor suddenly disrupted the shop.

Everyone including my own attention fell on a group of people. A handsome man and a beautiful woman were bickering like crazy.

"It's been months. Can't you forgive me already? Huh? Please....."

The woman sobbed, in a begging voice. She sounded so pitiful.
"How can a person change so much? Don't you feel an ounce of love for me? Did you forget me already?"

The Handsome man gazed at her, replying coldly. "Why would I? Someone like you doesn't deserve me."

Woah.....

The people around them let out gasping sounds.

"Geez....that poor woman. That man is pure trash."

"How Ice cold! How can a man be so shameless. Tsk. Tsk."

I found their reactions funny. We didn't even know their story yet here they were picking up narratives based on what they were seeing.

"Willie!! How can you treat me this way!! After all these years of marriage.....how can you turn your back at me." She wept even harder. Her beautiful face wrenched with tears.

The whispering inside got louder.

"Pffttt...hahahahaha!"

Suddenly a loud laughter killed the rowdy atmosphere.

The laughter was very loud and clear, for, it was coming from the table where I was seated.

"Pfft... You say that to him after cheating on him first? How can a person be so shameless. Pffttt...."

Everyone looked in my direction.

I coughed. Pretending to be dumb as a duck.

Zeke....he was ready to relieve his stress out on a total stranger.

And I wasn't going to intervene.

WILLIAM'S POV:

My ex wife has been stalking me for this long. It was starting to become bothersome.
She was now trying to get the bystanders on her side by spitting ambiguous words.

Some people are shameless enough to never learn. I guess.

"Pfffffffttt."

The melodious laughter was too loud for the crowd to ignore.

My eyes widened at the voice's familiarity.

That voice!!!

It was him.

A short little fella. With a tiger's gaze. Expressive eyes that didn't held back its emotions, reflecting what he was feeling in the moment. Each time he moved his lips, his eyes twinkled with an aura of mischief.

It's him.

"Its you!!"

I exclaimed happily.

His eyes looked at my ex wife with disgust.

"Talk about a cheater demanding the right treatment too good for them. How funny of a cheater to do so. Hahaha!!!"

I heard him say.

~Hm~

As expected, his poisonous tongue had its own charm.

I chuckled at this thought.
