As the colossal sized gates opened, they walked through them, passing much smaller guards that were about 5'1 - 5'5.
They wore helmets, but as soon as they entered the stadium, the sun enveloped their view. As they got back to their senses, they saw a bunch of people. Small and big, fighting against each other with chainmail and padding. Such horrible fashion choice, but it still did the job of "defending" the said person.
There were some with very little practice, Techno and Dream could tell since their stances were terrible, and their grip on the swords were loose and unstable. Which meant that they could easily loose a fight. The said people with 'very little practice' were the small youtubers. With the sub-count ranging from 1 - 1000 only.
On the other side of the stadium, they saw a replica of the gate they were standing in front of. The group breezed through the crowd, no one dared to look at them. They just minded their own business, fighting each other.
The gates once again opened, however, the guards standing beside them were taller. Ranging from 5'6 - 6'0 in height, they walked past them and there they saw the bigger (MINECRAFT) youtubers, however, still not as popular as them. Their sub-count ranged from around 1001-50 000. A lot, I must say but it's not as much as 100k+.
(they literally went through another stadium to the 50 001 - 100 000 sub-count youtubers, THEN AGAIN TO THEIR FINAL DESTINATION)
After walking across 2 stadiums, which were bigger than normal sized, they reached their 'starting point' where they would battle against other MCYT's who had about the same sub-count as (most) of them. Beside the walls of the stadium were benches and a... butler?
The butler handed each of them the clothes they were supposed to wear. Which were luckily, not chainmail and padding. It was something better and much more stylish. They went to change at the locker room.
As they were heading towards the locker room to change into their clothes, a sword flew right by Technoblade's head. He turned his head around to see that it was.. George?
"I wanna challenge you to a fight!" He exclaimed, "I'm not even done dressing up, why are you in such a hurry? By the way our matches are made by different people and not decided by us." Technoblade said calmly. "Ugh! Fine, I'll ask them to match us up." George said furiously as he walked towards his sword in the wall and pulled it out.
Technoblade shrugged and Dream wheezed in the background. He was nearly done dressing up but since Technoblade got interrupted, he didn't even have his padding or chainmail on.
Soon after putting all the armor on and what-not, he stepped outside the locker room and decided to look at the weapons on the rack to see what weapon he should use in his first match.
There was a mallet, sword, bow, dagger, glaive, battle axe and a shield. All of them were pretty decent weapons until something caught his eye. It was a simple long stick yet it seemed to have some sort of smoke come off of it.

The smoke was abnormal, it was purple and it didn't seem like there was a fire on the stick or anything. This had caught Dream's interest and he decided to try it out during his match. He took it out and examined it and then left it there to go relax on the bench.
(time skip im too lazy to do something fancy lol)
After a few rounds of fighting, it was finally dream's turn. He was going against Sapnap! Sapnap took a axe to be special and got in his ready stance. Dream looked at the axe as well, picked it up, examined it and put it back down. He took the staff, spun it and then got in his ready stance as well.
