chapter one

"mum grays coming back" i groaned loudly as Tyler woke me up by screaming from upstairs. my head shot up when i realised what he said, Grayson is coming back. this cant be happening, he left nearly three years ago and suddenly he's coming back. i picked up my phone next to me and read the time that said 7:42am i have less then an hour before we have to leave for school.

as i waited for the water in the shower to become hotter i got my clothes ready, an oversized shirt and jeans should do it. i walked back into the bathroom closing the door and stepping into the shower, i washed my hair and body before i got out. i got dressed, brushed my hair and teeth, put the tiniest bit of mascara on. i grabbed my stuff as i left my room to go downstairs, i said bye to my mum and emily as i got into Tyler's car.

i walked into school as usual not one word gets uttered to me apart from Tyler saying he cant pick me up because he's going Graysons after school. I walked over to my locker where i saw Kaitlyn, shes the complete opposite to me but shes my best friend, she likes to party and all the stuff i on the other hand don't like all that stuff, hell i haven't even had my first kiss, i came close but got way to scared. she gave me a hug as i hugged back, we talked for a while before we heard the bell. we walked into the back of the class and talked more before the teacher finally arrived.

school was over before i knew it, i had to do 3 tests as it was going to be spring break next week. i already know i aced every one of them, i said bye to Kaitlyn and started walking home. i took out my AirPods from my bad as i went onto Spotify to pick one of my favourite songs. the walk home was the same as it always was, it was quiet but cars drove past like it wasn't.

i finally got home 24 minutes later, curse Tyler for making me walk home. i dropped my bag as i walked over to the fridge to make a fruit salad, minutes later em walks over to me and hugs my leg. i smiled as i gave her a strawberry that i hadn't yet cut, once i was finished i picked up emily and walked over to the lounge. i sat her down as she picked out her favourite move, barbie and the princess charm school.

as much as i hate to admit I'm a bit of a sucker for barbie. i looked down at the time on my phone as it read 4:57, good mum is going to be home any minute now and i can go and study. i got up from the lounge and put my bowl in the sink as i cleaned it. once i was done mum came home, she placed her purse on the counter and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"how was school" a small smile grew on my lips, she has never been this nice to me somethings up. "it was good i had three tests but i think i passed with flying colours" she smiled back at me and told me she was proud. i walked back up to my room and sat on my bed for a little while, i scrolled through my socials and came across a post on instagram from Grayson. i haven't seen what he actually looks like in what feels like forever, he looks a lot different from his and Tyler's face times.

after dinner i sat at my desk contemplating studying or not, i decided to give myself a break and went to see what ty was doing. i walked into his room and dropped on his bed, "hello to you too a" he chuckles as he continues playing his game with the guys. i heard a voice come through Tyler's headset but i didn't recognise who it was.

"yo ty tell Ana to come to the party tomorrow", ty paused for a minute after agreeing. "a grays throwing a party tomorrow night for coming back home and he wants you to come", i didnt know whether or not i should go. i decided to agree just incase i wanted to go to this stupid party, all i know is that it isn't going to go very well for me.

luckily for me gray lives in our street so i can just walk to his, his party is on Friday its currently Wednesday night. i gave Tyler a hug before i left his room back to my own, i sat down at my desk and sighed. i plugged my earphones in as i played music to help me study better, i know i don't need to study but i have nothing else to do so i might as well kill time so i don't regret agreeing to the party.

the time on my phone hit 11:22pm so i closed my books before i went to the bathroom in my room and brushed my teeth and got ready for bed. i went into Emily's room and kissed her forehead goodnight before going back into my own. i grabbed my stuffed animal, noah, and closed my eyes to try and sleep. eventually i fell asleep with the thought of seeing Grayson lingered in my mind.

i woke up the next day at 7:30am and got ready for school, todays my early day which is good i guess. i wasn't bothered to have a shower so i grabbed a pair of black tights with a white t shirt to pair it with along with my white vans. i brushed my teeth, did my hair and applied the tiniest bit of makeup before going downstairs to get emily ready for preschool.

Tyler couldn't drop me off at school so i had to walk and drop emily off at the same time. luckily the walk was fast as i was eager to tell Kaitlyn about the party even though I'm pretty sure Tyler has already told her considering their dating. its kinda weird i guess but in a way I'm happy for them.

i think of it as if they get married we will be sisters in a way. i walked into school over to my locker where Tyler and Kaitlyn were just talking, she gave me a massive hug as we said our heys. we were talking about grays party and who and what is going to be there, drugs, alcohol and a bunch of sluts pretty much.
