In a sunny afternoon, there is a girl who seems tired and eager to get home to be able to get some rest.
Tired from her training and the long walk to the market to buy food for their supper got her even drowsier.
They have been living in the outskirts of the town for three days now.
Always move around and never stayed for a long time because her parents wanted to see the world.
That's what they tell her but she knew better from the clear sign of wariness of the people they met and the places that they usually stayed in are cheap that usual dangerous people or people who are hiding stayed in but, that doesn't mean they lied about wanting to see the world.

They often go to pretty unexplored areas, when I said unexplored because if it was known people will definitely swarm the place.
Since the modern era has been starting technological advancements are getting popular as the days go by.
Her parents didn't buy technological things though since it was known that it could be tracked. And that will be a huge inconvenience.
So far those who found them, didn't end up with good fate.

She was happy even though they didn't want her to know what exactly what is going on, Treasuring the memories they have are more valuable to her, for even though they were not her biological parents they loved her like their own.
They knew she has a lot of questions and promised her that they will tell her when the right time comes.
She didn't question it further and trusted them.

As she walk her current home, she was remising all the good memories they have and how grateful she is.
Walking on the pathway all jolly and have a smile on her face which is a thing she only show her parents but not strangers because even she was wary of them.
There is a reason why her parents is being all warry and careful around people.
She doesn't like to burden her parents so she wanted to be good and helpful to them in anyway she can.

She finally reached her destination, it's a two story house in the forest. Her mother said it was the home of their friend that she treasures.
She wanted to visit it even if its for a few.
Days then they would go beyond the sea.
The wooden exterior is visibly old but isn't rundown.
When we reached this place there were care takers and they recognized her parents as soon as we arrived they introduced her too they exchanged pleasantries and they said that they'll leave the house on our care for a few days.
The interior was cozy wooden furniture and simple decorations not all fancy but it is pleasant. The kitchen and dining area on the first floor and 3 bed rooms at the second floor..

Before she entered she felt a breeze and a sudden bad feeling made her guts tingly.
She knew something was wrong as soon as she felt that. Her gut was always right when it comes to dangerous circumstances.
She immediately opened the door to find her parents in order to ask if anything happened. But her tracks was stopped when the inside of the house was a wreck.
Confusion visible on her features as she try to figure out what happened to the place.
A thump from the second floor snapped her from her trance.
She immediately placed the food she bought at the kitchen counter and grabbed a knife at from the kitchen then slowly headed out the kitchen.
The nearest room door was opened.
Isolde was confused as it was her room and she was sure she closed it before leaving the house.
Slowly approaching the room to not alert whatever was inside.

But as soon as she entered, regret and pain immediately settles on her face.
Her mother was on a slumping position on the wall head down blood dripping from her head bruises on her cheeks was visible too her sleeves was ripped and slash marks are visible on the arms while her father was on her mother's lap covering her from something, a knife on his chest. Then noticing that a dagger was on her mother's hand with blood on it, as blood was also sipping out of her father's neck.
Trembling at the gruesome sight, tears started to fall on her cheeks furiously.
Slowly walking towards them not even caring if she got soaked on blood.
She kneeled down and hugged both of her parents as she cried in despair while checking, Hoping at some miracle that they were still alive.
Devastated by the current sight she cried for hours hugging them until there is no more tears falling down.

Her cries have died down and only sniffles are left when a voice from outside snapped her, it was the care takers they were here to check the house.
He was knocking on the door calling out.
The girl realized she needs to go or things may go hay wire and at top of that she can't trust anybody.
Kissing her parents on the forehead and bid goodbye even though they won't respond.
She stood up and headed towards the window that's on the other side of the house,
meaning she could go out unnoticeable.
Jumping over the window since it was the her only way out.
It wasn't that high and her body was used from jumping on high places since she liked jumping and hanging out on trees and its part of her training.
Landing perfectly like it was nothing at all.
She ran towards the woods.
Having a few stuff stashed there since her parents told her to be always have a backup plan.
She strived towards the woods and as much as she want she can't forget the scene she just left behind and the thought of her dead parents doesn't seem like a reality she can accept.
Tears falling again as the girls grieving lingers in her heart and a path that she need to face alone opens as her journey starts.
