ATHENA STOOD ON THE SIDE OF THE STAGE WAITING FOR TINA TO START HER AUDITION. The girl was surprisingly confident and walked up the stage with no trace of fear. "Tina C. I Kissed a Girl." Tina announced. Athena let out a semi-loud 'woo' from her position beside Artie as Tina began to sing.

"Thank you, Tina. I'll keep you posted." Mr. Schuester, the spanish teacher turned music teacher told Tina as she finished her last note. Athena clapped her hands when Tina made her way backstage, quickly embracing her in a hug.

"Period. You were amazing." Athena told Tina as the trio walked out of the auditorium once auditions were finished. "You too Artie, your rendition of Pony strangely did something to me..." she finished trailing off. "I have my way with music" Artie responded as he let out a laugh beside her with Tina nodding in agreement. "I'm like a thousand percent sure you guys got in, not only because of both of you's talent but because I think Mr. Schuester desperately needs people." she thought back to the list seeing only six people had signed up.

"Are you signing up for any clubs, A." Artie asked the curly-haired girl. "I'm thinking of trying out for the tennis team later today since my sister was in it when she was in school, you know?" Athena said wanting to make her big sister proud.

"That's nice. But I don't see you as a tennis player, I guess I'm just so used to seeing you do ballet." Tina told her best friend as the trio made their way down the school hallway. "I know, I don't see myself in it either but it would mean so much to my sister if I did. Also, guys who play tennis are kind of attractive, to be honest." she giggled. Tina rolled her eyes.

"I just wished you joined the glee club, it's going to suck not having you there with us. This could be something we do together." Tina admitted sadly really wanting her best friend to join, while Artie nodded agreeing with her.

"I love you guys but I'm just not interested." Athena said partially. She'd be lying if she said she didn't want to be in glee club but she'd already had ballet as an art form and that was enough for her. Plus, she couldn't help but think of those horror stories she heard of what they did to the kids who were in the club, it just wasn't worth it for her.

"But you love music, I'm having a hard time believing you." Artie said pointing out the girl's love for the arts, especially dance since she is in ballet. Athena hesitantly shook her head, "Okay you're right I do love music and to be truly honest, I was thinking of joining but-" Athena got cut off when she heard laughs coming from the end of the hall.

She turned around to see, the one and only, Rachel Berry covered in grape slush. Athena, Artie, and, Tina winced at what they saw and quickly kept moving along to avoid becoming the jock's next target. "I'm just scared that's going to happen more often than it already does." Athena finished her sentence pointing at the scene behind them. "Plus I have stage fright." she added.
