My Crush's Bestfriend (Hwang Hyunjin x Reader FF)

*Flashback*

*Y/n's POV*

I still remember the first day I met Felix...

It was autumn in Sydney and it was the start of the second semester of 7th grade.

*Flashback to 7th grade*

I kicked the orange leaves on my way to school, which was 5 mins from my house.

I was about to reach my school, when I noticed a boy around my age sitting on a bench outside the school. He wore my school's uniform and while all other kids had their parents seeing them off this boy just stared at his shoes as if waiting for someone.

I was never the one to approach someone I didn't know but something about this boy seemed so sad. So I sat next to him, "Hey I am Y/n, are you waiting for someone?"

He looked at me and nodded his head indicating a 'no'.

Reading the atmosphere it seemed to be a sensitive topic, so I took a maple leaf out of my pocket and handed it out to him. "Here from now on you can walk with me to school! I walk to school alone as well, my parents are busy and my brother goes to a different school" I smiled at him, to which I received a small smile from him as well.

That was the first time that I noticed his angelic freckles, and a smile that could shine brighter than the sun.

*Felix's Pov*

I made my first friend.

My whole life I had been homeschooled because of my Dad's business schedule. My mom and our servants were the only social interaction I had. My parents couldn't walk me to my first day of school today because of Dad's company merger.

Both my parents had to travel to Paris and video called me in the morning. I could tell they both felt terrible about it and were desperate to make up for it.

I didn't know how to make friends...

I was sitting on a bench while the auburn leaves fell around me.

That's when she approached me.

After she gave me a maple leaf and offered to walk to school with me, she stood up and held her hand out and said "Let's get going!". I took her hand and we reached our classroom.

We entered a room filled with chaos. But once we stepped in I felt all eyes turn our way and everyone came rushing.

"Are you a new student?!" someone asked.

"Wow you are so cute!" another person shouted.

"Where are you from? Do you speak English?" a third voice asked.

"I love your freckles!" someone else said.

I felt them all circle around us and close in. My grip tightened onto Y/n's hand which I was still holding.

I was suffocating with the unwanted attention from so many strangers I didn't know..."Everyone Stop! Give Felix some space, I bet he is overwhelmed right now" I heard Y/n's voice firmly tell our peers. "Make him feel comfortable around us and then he may answer your questions" she stated and craved a path for me to a seat next to the window through the sea of children.

"Thank you" I told her, to which I think I shocked everyone with my thick Australian accent. She smiled at me and put her stuff on the table next to mine.

I got more comfortable in my new environment and answered the questions from my classmates. Soon after a pair of twins entered the classroom, a girl and a boy with loose tie, messy uniform, and hair band. He had a very intimidating aura about him.

(Just kidding here's the real one)

They both made their way to Y/n's side, "Good morning beautiful" the girl greeted Y/n. While the boy messed her hair and put his stuff on her lap- I guess they must be close.

"Oh guys I got to introduce you to Felix, he just moved to our school from Brisbane. Felix this is Hyunjin and Yeji, and guys this is Felix." She introduced us, when someone came from the back and jumped onto Hyunjin's back "And I am Lucas, the normal one in the friend group! Welcome to the friend group!'' He said while the others rolled their eyes and scoffed in a joking manner to his introduction.

We all started laughing and got free with each other. The teacher entered and gestured for all of us to take a seat.

Yeji: Blue
Felix: Red
Y/n: Green
Hyunjin: Orange
Lucas: Yellow

*Y/n POV*

That was where it all started.

A/n: Hey guys I know this is shorter than normal! But lately I have been quite busy so bear with me. The story will continue and there will be flashbacks in between!
