Chapter 2: Undeduced

It had been one week since your encounter with Sherlock Holmes, and you just couldn't stop thinking about what he said. What was so interesting about you? Or was he even talking about you? Well it seemed so, he was starring right at you when he said it. since you couldn't get this man out of your head you decided to look him up. It sounds rather creepy, yes, but you wanted to know more about the guy. you found out that Sherlock was in fact a detective, a very good one at that. He had solved many murder cases that the police couldn't.

Well Molly was right about the guy he was an excellent detective, but according to John Watson's blog he was a bit of a pain in the butt, ignorant, and a sociopath. At Least John and Molly agreed that he was.

Even with the detective on your mind you still had stuff to do, and a job to find. You had been to a few interviews, but none of the jobs seemed interesting enough for you to put forth your best effort, so here you were jobless. So naturally You were absolutely thrilled when Molly offered to show you around Scotland Yard and possibly get you a job interview.

You spent the day with molly in the labs for the most part, but you had lots of fun hanging out with molly you two had become good friends over the time you had moved to the U.K.

Right now you two were drinking some coffee during yuor short break when Sherlock, and john stormed in the lab.

"No, John-' Sherlock was saying as he entered the room "Ah, Molly i would like to see the lab report on Mr.Lauren."

"Yes, of course," Molly hurried over to a table full of papers and started sifting through them looking for the right ones. All the while Sherlock kept his back to you. He was ignoring your presence by the looks of it. You weren't as observant as Sherlock, but you knew from the way he came in he had a perfect view of the entire lab so he knew you were there but he purposefully kept his back to you. Well what do you expect you haven't even been properly introduced to the man. You looked away from Sherlock and his shorter friend, you guessed that it was Dr. John Watson. Hmmm, he does resemble a small hedgehog. The thought made you laugh a bit catching the attention of Dr.Watson. You quickly glanced away as he turned in your direction.

"I don't believe we've been properly introduced, I'm John Watson."

"Nice to meet you I'm (y/n), a friend of Molly's."

"Nice to meet you too, and I apologize ahead of time for anything my friend, Sherlock, might say." This caught the detectives attention. Sherlock spun around and walked over to you and John.

"Sherlock Holmes," he said while extending his hand out for you to shake. Well that was unexpected he greeted you without deducing you and seemed to be making an effort to be nice.

"(Y/n) (l/n)."

"Hmm, American," Sherlock muttered under his breathe. You were expecting a bit more from the detective anyone could figure out that you were American you still had your accent after these last two years. "Interesting," he mumbled again. You couldn't help yourself you were dying to know what he was talking about.

"Interesting?"

"Yes..." He looked you up and down trying to deduce you. Ha, no way would you let him do that. You had worked to hard to keep people from telling what you were feeling and you weren't about to let this arrogant Brit figure it out. You kept your posture straight and your arms crossed as he tried to figure you out.

Here it is Sherlock, Mr.Lauren's report," Molly said and gave a small stack of papers to Sherlock

"Ah thank you Molly, how's the new Boyfriend." Molly immediately blushed and got all flustered.

"Um... He's ahh good."

"No he isn't you don't know because you haven't called him yet today already planning to break up so soon?"
