Background Story

M's Background/Prologue

In this Au, if you have inherited an elemental you can unlock it in two ways. The first way is through intense training and finding a weapon to channel it through, like the ninjas did. But there is a simpler way, you can unlock any possible elementals by saying, "I choose to claim my power, to wield it, to protect with it, and to not abuse it.", when M said this oath, she didn't unlock any elementals or powers at all....this was when she was five. At this time, Garmadon's transformation was almost complete, he was furious when he found out his only child didn't have any powers to make herself worthy as his heir. He essentially gave up on her and saw her as a lost case. Misako still cared but even she was a bit disappointed, and M and Sensei Wu were never close to begin with because of all the hostility between the brothers. Being somewhat aware of this, M started visiting Mystake and helping her out in the tea shop, she quickly progressed through experience and became an official assistant to help her make tea. A year later when she was six, Lloyd was born. Shortly after this, when she turned seven, Misako went on her search for the prophecies concerning one-year old Lloyd and Lord Garmadon was starting to build up the foundation of the whole turning Ninjago into his own image thing, this left M, a seven year old child to take care of Lloyd. Two years later, Garmadon was looking to gain more power as he had just recruited the skeletons, so he told Samukai to send out scouts to find someone who could create powerful potions, as long as he received what he asked for he wouldn't question the source. Samukai eventually learned about M being Mystake's assistant so he decided to kidnap her. This is why when M woke up next, she found herself trapped in an underground mining cave with tunnels, miles long, each leading to every major place in Ninjago. She stays trapped for the next nine years until an unexpected group is brought in.
