"I'm really getting sick of pizza," I groan as I continue pushing my untouched slice around my plate.
"Eat it," Jay orders, sounding too serious to be him.
"But I already had a peice!" I shove the plate away from me and see Jakeson laughing.
"More like a bight of mine!" Jay pushes the plate back towards me and I take an angry bight of the blasted thing. "See? Delicious!"
"It tastes like something died on it..." I complain.
"Too bad," snorts Jay before turning back to Jakeson and continuing their conversation about weapons. I sigh and lay down on the bench we are sitting on, not wanting to look at the stupid pizza.
"Jenna..." Jakeson whines from the other side of the table, "Jays gonna get angry."
"Oh who cares?" I sigh, "Jay can't stay mad at me!" I lay like this for a second before Jay tickles me. I fall off the bench and glare at him.
"You asked for it," he laughs. I roll my eyes and start walking over to one or the stations that got set up for us. Of course, Jay and Jakeson follow. I ignore them and listen to the I structor's lesson. Apparently, we are going to play an advanced game of hide and go seek with bb-guns. Workers will be given bb-guns and night vision goggles. There is a large shed, that is bigger than my house, and trash and fake trees everywhere, along with crates and such things. It's dark in the shed, but there is plenty of light outside of it.
"You guys will have one minute to hide!" the instructor booms, "There are only thirteen of you here, at this station right now, so it will be very easy to find your own spot!"
"Ready?" Jakeson nudges my shoulder.
"I've always been pro at hide and go seek," I brag.
"And, go!" The instructor yells. We all run to different parts of the station. I head straight for the shed, and notice that Jay stays outside. As soon as I'm inside, I stop running and let everyone else run ahead of me. I look around, the place is old. Like really old. I look up and see that there is a second floor, around me is several bags of flour, and separate rooms that everyone is running in. I smirk as I see a board sticking out of the wall slightly.
I jog over to it and push on it, it falls backwards slightly as soon as I pull my hand away. I pull it out of the wall enough for me to squeeze into the opening, and I close it behind me. I've learned that in old places like these usually are not made of cement, and if you pull back a loose board, you can just barely slip in and hide yourself with said board. I used to hide in my tool shed when I was angry at my parents.
I look through a small hole in the board when I hear whining outside. I'm guessing people are bring caught. I place my hands out in front of me and feel the wood, I can only reach out around a few inches from my chest, so I sigh and let my arms drop to my side. I dont really like tight spaces...
I see movement out of the corner of my eye, so I look through the hole. Several adults wearing night vision glasses and holding small and large bb-guns come into the room. I look away from the hole and listen as guns shoot, kids scream from surprise, and the complaining starts.
I don't know how long Ive been waiting here, but it's starting to feel like forever! The shooting only happens every few minutes now and it's mostly because someone gives away their position by either, laughing, talking, or jumping out and screaming at the fake tracker, trying to scare them. At first, when we started, if someone walked by my hiding spot, my heart would pick up it pace and my palms would start sweating. Now, I'm just praying someone will find me. I sigh and lean forward, attempting to rest my head on the wall, but it was closer than I thought and I hit my head. My eyes widen, I stand up, and hold my breath. The board gets pulled off the wall quickly and I am shot with a bb.
