Chapter 9: Assault

Winter months had come. Packed schedules and a lot of projects are already calling for the idols. SMTOWN are the most busy for this month until the end of the year.

It was also the month of awardings and music festivals. Taeyeon is one of those female artists that was nominated. And of course, Baekhyun himself and his two groups were also nominees for the awardings so he needs to attend. Taeyeon was already at the dressing room of the venue,preparing herself to wear her outfit.

And this time,she regretted agreeing to one of the wardrobe staff to wear her supposedly clothes when she already wore it. It was a black tube top partnered with a white short skirt which hug her curves perfectly. It makes her really uncomfortable when she notice her tube that's exposing her cleavage. She's not fond of wearing that kind of clothes but she didn't manage to complain just because she don't like it.

Her stylist started to fix her hair and her make up. It took an hour before they finish the hair and make-up session. One of the female staff help her to wear a red sandals. She then stand up and look at herself on the mirror.

"You're gorgeous" one of the staff praise at her beauty.

She gave her a little smile before looking back at the mirror. She's beautiful for tonight,yes. But she's really uncomfortable with her clothes.

She stayed inside her dressing room until the staff already called all the artists to head at the venue. When she went out, she met her female juniors who praise her as soon as they saw her. She's walking together with Red Velvet then halt immediately when a pair of eyes met hers.

It's been two weeks since their last conversation was inside the cafeteria,asking her to fix their relationship. After that,she couldn't see his figure nor his shadow near her inside the company. It seems like he avoided her, because of the embarrassing request that he made to her.

Taeyeon shivered as she realize that he's looking at her, head to foot then stop at her chest. She saw how he stare at her with a warning look on his eyes. She can also saw the angriness that past on his eyes and immediately change it into cold. His jaw was clench when he look away then started walking together with his group.

And this time, she was really nervous because of his scary stare. When all of them went inside the venue, a loud cheer and scream filled the hall. Taeyeon wave at those fans whenever she saw some banners of her.

The staff assigned them a seat. Baekhyun and his EXO members were already sitting and their eyes focus at the front. Taeyeon took a glimpse of him and she saw how he manage to look at the front, not looking at her. He had a straight face but his jaw was clenched for some reason and she knows behind it.

She already sitted infront of EXO's seat. She was with Red Velvet since her own members had their own schedules for tonight.

The event started after 30 minutes of preparation. A VCR flash on the big screen infront of the stage were seen as an introduction. After 10 minutes of showing a VCR, one boy group from the 4th generation perform at the stage. Taeyeon focus her eyes at the stage then shifted her stare at the screen when EXO appear at the camera and the crowd started to scream loudly.

Baekhyun's straight face turn into a sly smile when he saw themselves at the screen. He wasn't in the mood to smile widely at the camera then act  childish infront of the crowd.

The event went on continuously.EXO performed. Baekhyun performed. And so she is.

After some performance, the announcement of the winners and giving the awards already started. Of course, EXO receive their 'Best Album of the Year' and 'Best Male Group' at the awarding. Baekhyun also receive the 'Best Male Artist Award' and Taeyeon also receive the 'Best Female Artist Award'.
