Chapter 17: Grave

Five months had passed since the workshop was ended. And it's also five months when Baekhyun promised Taeyeon with a ring for her. And Baekhyun was right. He's really busy with his work when they get back to Korea. He really has no time to visit her on her apartment. They just finds a way to meet each other at SM building in time.

Taeyeon was fixing herself on her room when she got a text from Baekhyun saying he's already outside on her apartment and just waiting for her to come out. She smiled as she replied then put it back on her purse. She put a lipstick on her lips and a little comb with her blonde hair then she's done.

They had a date for this whole day. And after this, they won't see each other again for a long time. Baekhyun's enlistment is coming this week and Baekhyun planned to have a date with her for the whole day. He was also planning to have a date with his family tomorrow on Bucheon, his hometown.

She went out from her apartment and lock her room before taking the elevator to arrive at the parking lot where Baekhyun and his car were located. As soon as the elevator opens, she immediately saw him standing beside his car, arms were crossed while leaning his back on it. She smiled then wave at him before running towards his direction and hug him. She heard him chuckle before hugging her back then kiss her hair.

"Let's go?" Baekhyun ask her.

Taeyeon nodded then smile at him once again. Baekhyun open the door for her and she immediately went inside.

Baekhyun started turning the engine on as soon as he went inside at the driver's seat. The car roared into life and Baekhyun started driving.

"Where are we going? I don't think you'll take me into public places. People are going be a mess" Taeyeon exclaimed.

"I'm not taking you to public places. I just want you alone" he replied.

Taeyeon giggle on his answer then fix his hair when she saw it that was already messy and almost covering his eyes.

They took a long drive for them to arrive at the right spot. They were already out of Seoul. A green forest welcome her eyes when the car stopped beside the road. Clueless of why Baekhyun bring her on that place, she open the door then went out of the car. She keeps on looking at the same trees and furrowed her brows when she look at Baekhyun.

"So, how was it?" Baekhyun exclaimed and a ghost of mocking smile play on his lips.

She groaned then look on her dress. This dress is obviously not for them to climb or walk into forest.

"Why are we here? I thought we're going into hotel to have some lunch and dinner. Are you planning to climb this forest with me? You didn't inform me. I should have brought my clothes" Taeyeon exclaimed.

Baekhyun chuckle then walk towards her.

"We'll do it later. Let's just go, can we?" Baekhyun ask her.

He lend his hand infront of her. She sighed then hold his hand then started following his steps. They enter the little path of the forest while holding each other's hand. They walk inside the forest quietly. Only tweets of birds, sounds of cockroaches, and a broken dry leaves was the only sound that they can hear between their silent walking.

Baekhyun was just infront of her so she just follow his steps while walking. Taeyeon heard a water flows just near at them. She craned her neck just to see where the water flow is, then saw a river a few meters away from them.

She suddenly stop walking when Baekhyun stop infront of her. Baekhyun let go of his hand into her hold then walk slowly as he went near at the tree. Taeyeon look at the view then praise the beauty of it on her mind. It is a perfect place to have a picnic, she thought. She look for some flowers just beside the road that they went in, then pick one and smell the scent of it.
