Chapter 15: Worry

"Are you sure you didn't forget anything?" Baekhyun ask her in the middle of carrying her bags to put it on the van's compartment.

The hotel crew also help them to put it inside. Taeyeon turn her head to look at him then shake her head as an answer then flash a smile to him.

"You'll follow, alright?" Taeyeon ask him as an assurance.

Baekhyun nodded then smile before hugging her tight then sway her for a bit.

"Taeyeon, let's go" her manager called her.

They look at her manager and to the production team that was already inside the van, and just waiting for her to get in. Baekhyun gave her a brief kiss on her forehead before pushing her inside the van.

They stare at each other for some seconds before she finally get in then close the door between them. She saw how Baekhyun wave her goodbye as soon as the vehicle moves. She turn her head to look at the back of the van just to see his figure who was still standing outside the gate of the exclusive hotel, and still looking at their van.

She sighed then just look at the front of the van as soon as she can't see him already. Her manager and the staffs were silent at the moment. No one dares to speak but they can feel the longing and the sadness on Taeyeon's eyes. And no one ask but they already knew that they were in a relationship again because it was really obvious from the start as soon as Baekhyun arrives and follow her here in Australia.

They already took a plane heading back to Korea and they were all exhausted as soon as they arrive at Incheon Airport because of the long flight. It was already midnight in Korea when they arrives. They still didn't leave the airport and waited for their van to arrive.

Taeyeon texted him for an hour and she didn't got a reply coming from him. And Taeyeon was certain that he was already taking the second flight heading back here.

One of the staffs buy a coffee for all of them that she immediately drink. They all stand up when the van already arrive right infront of the airport. Taeyeon sighed heavily after she rested her back on the backrest of the seat. Feeling tired and exhausted, she immediately fell asleep then woke up after when she heard an alarmed noises inside the van.

Even though she's still sleepy, she manage to get up. She look outside the van then realize that they were stuck in a heavy traffic. She fell asleep at the time of 10:30 and wake up at 11:42 in the evening only to greet her manager a words causing her face to get pale.

A plane that Baekhyun certainly took for the second flight were crashed into an accident. The plane has some technical errors that it immediately failed to work then falls on the wrong area. Because of the sudden landing of the plane, it cause a huge fire and explosion and the plane was totally damaged.

It was all over the news. Taeyeon can see it outside the van. And it's horrifying that no one knows that Baekhyun was there, inside that plane. Taeyeon cried. Her heart thump fast as she think about it.

Baekhyun was there. He said that he's going to take the next flight after them. And Taeyeon couldn't stop herself from crying while saying some words at the people inside the van. They were all problematic about the news and Taeyeon is the most miserable one. She then stand up then open the door of the van which makes her manager got alarmed.

"Taeyeon! Where do you think you're going?" she heard her manager ask her angrily and almost shouting.

But she ignore his question then ran immediately as fast as she could just so she can arrive at the airport again. She keeps on crying but not as loud as she did awhile ago inside the van. She knows from herself that her make up was already ruined because of the unstoppable tears that keeps on running down on her cheeks.

Holding her wallet and passport, she buy a ticket heading back to Australia. She wants to know if he's really there, in that plane. And if he was really there, she wants to know if he's still alive, just lying on one of the hospital bed on that country. And thinking about his situation makes her worried,sad, desperate and broken.

People inside the airport were all busy that they couldn't even recognize the female artist who were miserably crying in the middle of the night. She took two hours just to buy a plane ticket and it drives her crazy whenever one minute was passing by. She wants to shout at the people who were just infront of her, also waiting to buy a ticket.

She mess her hair in frustration not minding her appearance. She hide her face with her two palms just to cry hard thinking about Baekhyun's situation.

Was he okay? Is he alive? Is he dead?

Thinking about the last word, makes her cry hard. No. She doesn't want it to happen. She thinks she's not ready for this kind of situation.

It's odd that her manager didn't follow her even though she's been missing for two hours but she didn't mind it at all.

She was still crying. One hand covering her eyes just to hide her tears and another hand just to kept silent. She was already in the second line to buy a ticket when a hand grab her wrist then pull her far away from the crowd. On her instinct, she thought that it was her manager who grab her.

She angrily pull her hands just to head back to buy her ticket but she automatically stop when she saw the man's figure. The reason why she cried hard earlier up until now. She was speechless while looking on his muscular back that were fitted perfectly on his black shirt.

They stop at the parking lot of the airport then hide on the big pillars. He look around before looking at her worriedly. She saw how the amusement from his eyes twinkle.

Instead of her, being relieve that he's here, came back and doing fine, her broken and sad emotions turns into a sudden heat of anger. She push his chest then punch it for many times while gritting her teeth.

He made her worried for nothing. She didn't stop hitting his chest until he caught her two hands then stop her from punching. She lower her head then look down just to let her tears fall once again. She sobs for awhile then turns into cry.

Baekhyun hug her tight, kissing her hair.

"I'm sorry." he whisper.

She didn't say anything. She can't speak because of her unstoppable tears.

"Did I make you worry?" he ask.

"Of course! Who would not? We all thought you're in that plane...dead or injured!" she cried.

"I'm sorry. I got late to my supposedly flight after you. I just took a plane going to Japan then Japan to Korea" Baekhyun explained.

Taeyeon wipe her tears away then nodded when she already understand his explanation then hug him tighter.

"Let's get out from here. People are going to recognize us if we stay like this for too long" he whisper.

Holding each other's hands, they walk towards Baekhyun's car that was park on the corner of the parking lot. She already sent a message to her manager that she's with Baekhyun already.

After she sent that, she immediately receive a call from her manager just to know that her manager wants to talk to Baekhyun.

It was a long drive for them. Baekhyun stop his car as soon as they arrive on the building of her apartment.

Taeyeon fix herself before facing him then gave him a brief kiss.

"We'll meet at the company on Monday. Rest for awhile. Stop crying now. I'm fine." Baekhyun assured her.

She nodded then caress his long fingers that was holding her. Baekhyun leaned forward then kiss her forehead as a finality. She immediately went out from the car then stand beside it after she close the door between them.

She waited for him to turn the engine on then started driving, away from her.

She stare at the fading car for awhile then sigh as she enter the building of her apartment.
