Junho POV✧*°~♪

Y/n has been acting strange lately, I stared at the message she sent me

" Ill be back soon don't worry about me :) "

Her mom told me that she hasn't been coming home these past few days and she's worried sick about her, knowing Y/n she's prolly off somewhere trying to earn money even though i told her ill take care of it

I arrived at Y/n's house while her mom was working at the fish market

I scanned her room to see any clues as to where she might be and noticed a strange card on her desk with a bunch of shapes i recalled the moment where i saw a man on the police station gave the exact same card to one of my coworkers explaining that a lot of people were killed while playing this "game"

i then got worried and rushed to my car outside and called my coworker who had the number of the unkown man who can potentionaly lead me to where Y/n is

It was raining and i was kinda shivering despite having an umbrella with me, it was getting late i wonder where that man went, i cannot enter as there was different rooms and i didnt wanna knock on every door to avoid disturbing his neighbors

I then saw a familiar man and noticed it was the same man on the station "Seong gihun-shi?" i asked for conformation "Yeah?" then i proceed to show him my police id "Im hwang jun-ho and im with the police, you made a report in the station earlier right? you said a group abducted people and made them play games... and you said... some people were killed too?" i noticed he avoided my gaze and said "Oh all that?.. yeah i just made those up...Yeah! a story i made up as i was drunk"

he was about to walk away from me but i stopped him "They sent a card to my girlfriend...just like the one you had sir" i paused for a quick second and started to talk again "She went missing a few days ago..." he still avoided my gaze and said "I just found it, i dont know... i saw it on the street and just placed it in my pocket"

he then went to get away again but of course i stopped him the second time "Mr.Seong... you can help me.. i need to get her back" gihun then just stared at me and said "why would you think i am useful to you or anybody else?" i remained quiet as he just opened the gate and made his way to his house

I stood there feeling hopeless not knowing how i could get my Y/n back, i turned to head to my car but i felt a hand stop me, i turned around to see it was gihun "uhm you know what lets go save your girlfriend"

I waited patiently in my car as i recalled gihun explaining to me what will happened so we decided to make sure we stay alive even inside the games

while waiting i saw Y/n left her bracelet in the seat beside me i picked it up and stare at it for a while remembering the promise she made me

✧*°~♪ Flashback ✧*°~♪

I sat next to Y/n as we were star gazing laying on top of my car "Yknow i really want to marry you" i blushed and stared at her in shock, she looked at me and chuckled "actually i promise ill propose to you next year!" i pulled her close and said "haha ill do it first than you" the night continued as we made jokes under the sparkling night

I snapped out of my thoughts as i see a van approach gihun, he then entered the van but it didnt move for a couple of seconds and saw some kind of gas was coming out of the windows where they to put them to sleep? thats why he said he doesnt know the location

the van then started to move and i waited for a couple of seconds and trailed it to make it look as natural as possible

I then stood beside the triangle and umbrella door trying to observe my surroundings, the door then opened and i saw people with green jumpsuits and it looked like they had certain numbers on their left chest

I scanned the room to maybe see some familiar faces then i saw gihun talking to some guys im guessing its his friends

the lady on the speaker then said to stand infront of their chosen doors and line up infront of them, i still dont know what the game is but i just stood still trying to find Y/n

the doors then opened and players were instructed to take a tin can and find a spot to sit on

i then noticed Y/n line up in the umbrella lane and sat down infront of me not too far, while waiting i notice her looking at me i turned to see if any one of the guards were looking then i slightly showed her bracelet from my pocket this caused her eyes to widen and she gave me a small smile

the game then started and i notice her face drop when she opened her tin can, i moved slightly forward to see what was inside and it was a dalgona candy with a needle.... i realize what the game was and hoped she she wins

a shot was then fired and everyone turned to look at where it came from it turns out one of the guards shot a player above the slide "wait wait! please dont!" a lady said to the guard but they just shot her, alot of shots were then fired i think it means they broke their candy or sum

i turned to look at Y/n but she was facing her back towards me and i noticed her shaking a bit, i just wanted to run and hug her so that she would stop shaking but i couldnt

a few mins has passed and alot of players were getting killed while some passed already, i look at Y/n again and i notice her not moving her hand and she looked up to the traingle guard near her

her body then fell backwards, and i slowly look down to see.... i quickly looked up trying to hold in my tears when i notice someone was behind me "number 29..." i looked back to see a square masked guard "sir?" "what is your duty?" "my duty is..." "your duty is to carry out eliminated players" "im sorry sir i got confused" "stay here after and ill have a word about your confusion" i nodded as he walked away

It was now time to 'carry out' the eliminated players, another circle guard helped me carry Y/n's body and placed her inside a coffin i then closed the lid and felt a tear slip from my cheek

i promise to end this game for you Y/n
