Y/n POV ✧*°~♪

I was waiting near the exit for my boyfriend sangwoo and my bestfriend ali im not sure who their partners are but my partner was someone random but i still felt bad i won i hope their soul rests in peace

I then saw sangwoo approaching the exit i smiled and stood up to hug him but he didn't return my hug back which was wierd but its fine

I pulled away from the hug and asked "Who was your partner? Do you know where ali is?" I hope ali is okay but he only looked at me with guilt in his eyes

"Sangwoo Hyung!" I looked over sangwoo and saw ali alive but something feels off

I smiled and waved at him but he ignore me and opened his little pouch and inside was pebbles I didn't understand but ali only looked at us with tears in his eyes

Then all of a sudden he got shot in the head "Player 199 is eliminated" i got shocked as i just saw my bestfriend collapse to the floor

Sangwoo then pulled me and followed his assigned guard to our bedroom area with the rest of the remaining players are

As we arrived tears streamed down my face "Was Ali your partner? Why did he call you last minute?" I asked sangwoo then i noticed his shirt was torn then it clicked inside my head the pouch that was used to store the pebbles ali had was sangwoo's shirt

"Look i had to do what i had to do-" "Why did you play unfairly?" I cut him off as tears we're streaming down my face but he only scoffed at me

"You know what this is why you almost died a couple of times your too naive and nice, you're also weak i have to protect you every single time why dont you just go die" sangwoo screamed at me i was shocked as sangwoo knew i dont like it when people scream at me

As soon as he said that i wiped my tears and went to go to saebyeok my other bestfriend

I sat down next to her and looked at gihun tryna calm sangwoo down

"I also saw what happened but you gotta stay strong yknow? Win this for ali" i turned to look at saebyeok giving me a sad smile

"Since it's still afternoon we will begin the next game players please follow the guards in a single file line" the person in the speaker said

Wow they really like killing people do they? Everyone then formed a single line, me and saebyeok were near the front while sangwoo and gihun were near the back

The guards then lead us to a familiar white room and there stood mannequins with numbers on them 1-16

The guards then motioned for us to sit down in the stairs so we did

"Everyone please choose a number and wear it, after you are done line up according to the number you have chosen" the person in the speaker announcing what we should do

Everyone got up and chose their number, saebyeok chose 15 so i decided to go for 14 as I didn't really wanna go last but as soon as i reached for it sangwoo got it before me

I looked at him in disbelief but he made me wore the number 13

Everyone then formed a line according to our number i was a little nervous about the game as I didnt want any of my friends to die

Sangwoo must have noticed and put his arms on my shoulder i turned to give him a glare that meant 'im still angry at you' but he just gave me a small smile

We were then lead to a room that looked like a circus with glass bridge infront of us

"The game is based on luck pick one glass tile and proceed until you get to the very end the person with the number 1 will start first"

The guy that had number one looked terrified but he knew he had to do it

We were now just 2 glass tile away from the finish line luckily there was this old dude who used to work with glass so he pretty much was a cheat code for us

One light that was directly above us suddenly turned off but we can still see as the lights behind us were still on

"I can't tell the difference if the light is out" the old dude said i heared sangwoo scoffed behind me and he suddenly stepped in my tile and pushed the old man forward which lead him to his death (just pretend that the two of them are fit for one tile hehe)

I then looked at him in shocked but he just looked away "ill choose for the last tile" he said but as i was about to refuse the lights went on and there was a guard pointing a gun at sangwoo

"Please move according to your number" the person in the speaker said so i went to the 2nd to the last tile and decided for myself

As i made my choice i turned to look at sangwoo and whispered to him "if i do die just remember you wanted me to okay"

As he was about to say something i chose the wrong tile which caused me to fall

Sangwoo was taken back and tears were forming in his eyes "Yah sangwoo move already theres 10 seconds left" saebyeok told sangwo

As they reached the finishing point there was only 1 second left till the timer was up

Sangwoo still couldn't believe Y/n just died "you should continue playing for her" saebyeok said and gihun just nodded at her

Im sorry Y/n, ill win this for you
