Though it was a cold morning I had to wake up early to change and go to school, I was in the 10th grade. I woke up and meditated as usual, after that I took my shower and went down stairs, and as expected, aunty kehinde had thrown another party yesterday night, solo cups littered everywhere with leftovers, as I came down stairs like three girls were on the couch naked with about four boys by their side and my aunt on the rug sleeping, I had to cross over them to get to the kitchen. I groaned and simply ignored them, I reached for a box of cereal, as I poured it, I dropped my spoon and they all woke up groaning and holding their head "good morning aunty kehi" I said rolling my eyes at the naked girls trying to cover up, "oh good morning sweetie, what time is it and why are you on ur school uniform isn't today Saturday", "no it isn't aunty" I laughed "its Friday though you were almost close", oh my Gosh she said hold on sweetie ill take you too school right now, don't worry aunty I've got it covered Mr Sam will drive me to school today and almost immediately after the statement I heard the horn and my driver had arrived, I crossed over the confused group and pecked my aunty on her forehead, have a great day aunty I said smiling knowingly as I left the house.
I got to school today and had the normal, biology, maths and geography after that the whole school day went on normally, and before I knew it, and when I said I had no friends I meant it because, I actually talked to no one and no one talked to me, it was almost as if I was invisible to all, apart from my school teachers because I actually did really well in school being that straight A student soooo. It was 2:00pm I packed up and went to the field to wait for uncle Sam and by 2:20 he was there to get me as I got into the car he smiled and said "Ada" which was the igbo meaning for first daughter, "your parents will be coming back to stay for the weekend" I smiled and he smiled back then we headed for the house.
