Ch.19

Watching closely as the doctor examined Chisaki and Manaka, I clenched my fists tightly in worry. "Well, at this rate I see absolutely no reason why you all couldn't take care of them right here" the doctor sighed as he stopped his examination.

"And you're sure, right!?" Hikari had peeked in though the door as he yelled out, double checking with the doctor that they would be alright. "Hikari!" Askari let out a gasp at her brothers intrusion into the room.

"Within the last two days, we've administered a series of thorough examinations, and considering everything they've been through, I'd say that they're actually pretty healthy."

"There's nothing wrong with their brainwaves either and if the two of you boys waking up is any indication, there's no reason to believe they won't be up soon." The doctor explained the situation very thoroughly for us.

I let out a shaky sigh to myself before smiling and looking down between the two sleeping girls, they'd be okay. "All right! You see, I told you Akari!" Hikari held a toothy grin as he turned his head over to face his older sister.

"There's no reason for us to worry at all, and I bet eben Manaka's Ena will grow back again!" Hikari bursted our in excitement which caused the rest of us to chuckle at his outburst just now.

Just before her had been worried sick and questioning if they were actually going to be okay, but now he's acting like he knew that they would be fine all along.

"More than anything, I'm just glad to hear that they're going to be okay, isn't that awesome, kid?" Hikari smiled as he lifted up Akira, who bit down onto Hikari's thumb harshly.

With a yelp, Hikari put Akira down and looked down at his throbbing thumb. "Akira! you little.." he paused and held back his words. "Also, [Yn], your leg isn't broken or highly damaged" the doctor smiled at me while pulling a bandage out of his first-aid.

"You did sprain it though, I don't recommend walking on it to much, it should be healed in a few days though depending on how it's treated" he wrapped the bandage around my leg as he gave me the clear instructions.

"Oh, I just wanted to tell you, thanks so much" Hikari smiled towards the doctor before standing himself up. "Come here, you!" He straight away started to chase after Akira with his hands out.

"Well, those two certainly are lively, if they keep this up, I doubt they'll be able to stay asleep much longer" the doctor chuckled as he packed all his stuff up to get ready to leave. "Okay..this is really embarrassing" Akari sighed while looking down.

"Seriously" Miuna nodded with agreement while I let out a small chuckle "I bet Hikari is just happy that we were able to find Chisaki and Manaka" I spoke up with a wide smile.

Limping myself down the hall, I peered down at Miuna who held a panicked expression across her face while peering into the room where Manaka and Chisaki were asleep. "C..Chisaki! I didn't expect you to wake up so soon!" Hikari's voice rang out from inside the room and I gasped to myself at that.

I forcefully ran myself to the door despite my injured leg and pulled the door open all the way. As it opened, I spotted Chisaki who was sitting up in her futon with a confused expression laid out.

"[Yn]..is that you?" Her tired voice escaped from her lips as she grudgingly looked me up and down. Tears filled the brims of my eyes, I tired to blink them away but to no avail they stayed in place.

"Yeah..it's me!" I let out a small chuckle through my tears. Chisaki rubbed at her eyes "you look kind of different, you're taller and your body is different" she pointed out bluntly while still taking in my appearance, rubbing at her eyes again to see if they were playing tricks on her.
