He Cares (Jerza, Nalu Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Erza's POV:

"Jellal Fernandes." Natsu had told me, yes, it is him, and his "beautiful" girlfriend Lucy.

Talking about that stupid girl, Natsu had been "hanging" around her lately, for example:

I saw him sitting next to her this recess, the first time he had ever "communicate" with that girl.

"Yo, Lucy, is it?" Natsu said.

"Don't act as if you know me." Lucy narrowed her eyes and said.

"Hey Lucy, want me to take you on a tour?" Natsu asked.

"No." Lucy snorted.

"But you're a new student! I could show you around!" Natsu said enthusiastically.

"No thanks. I could find someone else." Lucy said.

"Why someone else? I'm right here!" Natsu said.

Lucy tilted her head to one side and said, "What do you want, pinky? By the way did I mention that I hate your hair color?"

But before this kiss-ass could reply, I snatched him over my side and spat at the girl, "Hey, mind your own business!"

"You should tell him to mind his own business!" Lucy called angrily after us.

"Why are you talking to this b*tch?" I asked.

"She's a fun girl." Natsu chuckled.

"Fun!?" I said in surprise, "Are you insane? I mean you both are, fall for such a girl!"

"She's pretty cute." Natsu said.

I snorted, don't know if it's jealousy or disgust.

"You gotta admit." Natsu added.

"Yeah sure." I sighed.

Lunch...

I walked up to sit next to Natsu, but he was sitting right next to that girl Lucy, and Jellal was telling him to go away, and so they were basically fighting, that Lucy girl was watching them with a satisfied smirk on her face, as if she enjoys the two jealous men fighting for her.

I sighed, walking to the table where they sat, I accidentally tripped over Natsu's foot and spilled my lunch all over Jellal's shirt.

"Sorry!" I said, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it."

Jellal looked down at his white shirt and tried to remain calm and said, "It's okay."

"I'm sorry." I said again, and then I started cleaning up his shirt, carefully and gently, and then I cleaned his face with tissues, I took off my jacket and put it on him, made sure that he wasn't cold.

"Cough cough!" Lucy shouted. I turned over to her, her face was full of anger, and then I looked over to Jellal, he was totally surprised, until I realized that all the thing that I just did was a girlfriend's job, and I'm not his girlfriend. I totally forget that we weren't lovers anymore.

"S-sorry again!" I said quickly.

"No, it's okay." Jellal said coldly, and then he took off my jacket and stood up, "Let's go Lucy."

They walked off, and then Natsu gave me a sympathetic look.

"Erza, you okay?" He asked carefully.

I buried my head in my jacket and sobbed quietly, I can't believe that I still care about him, I just can't believe that.

I felt Natsu came over and sat beside me, at once I thought it was Jellal, and then I put my head in his arms.
