He Cares (Jerza, Nalu Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Erza's POV:

The class is finally over!!!!!!!!!

I walked into the hallway and sat on a seat with my best friend in the school, Natsu, yes, he is a boy, sometimes people thought we're a couple because of how close we are, but we're really just really really best friends.

"Erza, there's two new students!" Natsu said excitedly, I nodded carelessly, why would I care?

And then Natsu started telling jokes to me, I laughed several times, not so many people can get me laughing, all I remember is there's only two person can make me laugh, Natsu, and then, the other one, I don't think he can make me laugh again.

"Erza, here it comes!" Natsu shouted.

"What?" I asked, I was busy reading a book Natsu wrote, where there's all the funny jokes that he made up, I chuckled at once when I saw a picture of him wearing a dress.

"No, look!" Natsu shouted, so I did, and then we saw a girl and a boy walking together, they're the new student.

Natsu was looking at the blonde hair girl, but I was looking at the guy who was holding her hand tightly, while whispering something into her ear, his blue hair reminded me something that I was trying to forget.

"What's that girl's name?" Natsu asked me.

"How would I know?" I replied, as I watched the blue hair guy kept on walking.

"Ask her, please!" Natsu begged.

"No! Ask her yourself!" I said.

"Or, ask that boy." Natsu giggled.

"No." I finally got my eyes off of that guy, and keep on reading Natsu's jokes book.

"I just want to know that girl's name, what's wrong with that?" Natsu said, while pulling the book off of my hand, and then he grabbed my hand and walked to the blue hair guy, "Hey, handsome, this girl wanted to ask you something."

"What!?" I mouthed to him.

He gave me an understanding look as if we have a secret or something, and then walked off.

I turned back to the blue hair guy, a glimpse of surprise flashed in his eyes, and said, "What is it that you want?"

"Um..." I glanced at the blonde hair girl, who looked at me arrogantly.

"What is it!" The blonde hair girl snapped.

"I just wanted to ask what her name is." I said.

The blue hair guy narrowed his eyes, and said, "Her name is Lucy." and then he added playfully, "You're jealous?"

"Of course not!" I said quickly, "I'm not the one who want to ask this stupid question, he's the one!" I said, looking for Natsu, but he's long gone.

"Yeah sure!" He laughed, "By the way my name is Jellal."

I almost froze in astonishment in that moment, and then he smiled and walked away with the girl called Lucy.

"Yo, Erza! Lucy is it?" Natsu jumped out of nowhere.

My heart was racing, and I totally ignored him.

"Erza, you okay?" Natsu asked.

"No." I said simply.

"Oh, okay, I don't know what to do about it." Natsu shrugged.

I straightened up and said, trying to sound as if nothing had happened, "So Natsu, I get you her name, now you have to get the blue guy, Jellal's last name, get it?"

"But I'm a guy!" Natsu said, "And you already know his first name, who cares about his last name?"

"I'm just checking okay?" I said.

"Check what?" Natsu asked.

"Just do your job." I said.

The moment that he saw me with surprise and the moment he told me his name keep flashing back in my mind, he told his name to me surely means that he wanted me to stay away from him, even now, after two whole years.
