The music was getting way too loud for Jisu's liking and she felt like everyone's eyes were on her the whole night. It was not her fault her classmates were too stuck up to ever properly socialize. And to be honest, she was very glad she never got close to anyone. If one more person would talk about their walk-in closet she would have ripped all of their hair out to choke them with it. Thanks to her filthy rich parents she had to be cursed enough to spend hours daily with elite kids who had peas for brains.
Thankfully, the dance would end soon to assure that the people would stop grinding on each other. Jisu was sad her friends lived hours away and could only keep her sane over Facetime for an hour.
After fighting with her own thoughts she decided to head outside and wait for her chauffeur to pick her up. That was when she spotted y/n , top of every class, leader of the dance and vocal team and literally the person with the most perfect smile Jisu has ever seen.
She was standing on the street and was dancing by herself to some slow song playing from her phone. The way she never missed a beat was fascinating to Jisu, how someone could look so powerful and composed at the same time was beyond her. The moment y/n finished all she could hear was clapping. Confused, she turned around to stare at Jisu. And wow, she was even more gorgeous in the lights of the streetlamps.
Y/n was still sad that the only times the two actually talked was when they were partnered for projects. This very night the dancer was determined to finally get to know the beautiful mind of the girl she had admired for years in secret. So she took the other by her hands and started to sway them around on the asphalt, easily starting a conversation.
Several hours later and school almost empty, the girls were lying on the sidewalk giggling about the smallest things. Their feet hurt terribly from dancing for that long, so they threw their heels into the dumpster and enjoyed watching the night sky after kind of falling onto the floor from having a little race back to where y/n's car was.
"Thank you for making this night less boring. Otherwise I would've gotten drunk and start a fight with Sana , so she'd shut up.", Jisu exclaimed, her eyes shining. Y/n smiled at that and tried to bow lightly. "Thank you for gracing me with your presence then. Although I would have loved to see that fight.", she answered and it made both laugh. Then a short comfortable silence settled in, in which both sat up and helped each other into a standing position.
"Jisu, thank you for being the first one that really listened to me. We most likely will part ways really soon but just know that these few hours made me really happy and I would also like you to know that I have liked you for a long time and think I should have told you sooner. You are fascinating and so smart and I love your company." Jisu stared at the other, a light blush on her cheeks. "Who said our paths had to be separated, beautiful?", she said as she inched closer.
Y/n was glowing from happiness and anticipation and was so grateful when Jisu finally kissed her. It was better than any movie and way better than she could have ever dreamed up. They stood there for a while, holding each other like they were made out of the most precious crafts on the planet. The kiss ended with Jisu playing with her hair and standing on her tip toes to leave a kiss to her forehead as well.
"Let me get you home my sweet, lovely darling lady.", y/n said while bowing and softly pushing Jisu towards her car. "Very well, fair madam.", Jisu responded bowing as eagerly. Both of them laughed at their antics before getting into the car and driving off guided by the moon.
