A few bumps and bruises are made on the way down.

I land on solid ground and stand up straight.

A rock hit my leg as I slid down.

Now my whole right leg and butt hurts.

I try to walk but it ends up in a limp.

At least it wasn't a bunch of kids beating me up this time.

Streaks of light make it easier to see.

I limp over and see a very tall man in black robes laying in the center of the floor, next to a black globe covered in glowing lights.

His black hair and grey skin sends shivers down my spine.

I limp closer and I slowly touch him.

He doesn't respond.

I shake his shoulder and he gasps.

His eyes fluttering open and he looks at me.

I step back and he gets up and does the same.

"You can see me?"

I nod and he shakes his head.

"Now why would a girl your age believe in the Boogeyman"

It's the only stories I've heard in my life. The only ones that make sense.

I trail off and he looks at me with a weird face.

His sharp teeth send a chill back down my spine again.

"Where do you live so I can ditch you there."

Yeah sure ditch me like everyone else in this damn world!

I said with bitterness lacing every word.

He stood there shocked.

A few minutes passed and he finally found something to say.

"Why would people ditch you?"

A lot of people abandon me because of my mental disorder.

Others because they just don't care if I'm alive or not.

He sat there, looking into my eyes, his eyes shining in the dark.

"Well then you're going to the orphanage."

I'll just excape again and get back to the woods. I say bored.

He looks at me in disbelief.
