Chapter 2

Kiara's POV

As I get to my first period class, I hope we dont have a supply. I love my teacher, he's hilarious. Adrien loves him too, but in a different way. Ebony is indifferent to him. But as soon as I enter the classroom, all hope is gone. We have a supply, but not just any supply. It's THE supply. You know what I'm talking about. The one supply that makes you do the nitty gritty work, the one that makes new rules, splits you up from your friends, makes EVERYONE in the class give an answer to a question. 'Oh my god, I'm hating this even more! Why do we need to go to this damn school' 'Honestly, I hate supply teacher's, but go take your seat Ki, we'll all get through it' I take my seat by the window. It has the perfect view of everything, the ball diamond, the teacher and the board, and I have privacy from everyone. Well I HAD privacy. Until Lucas came and sat beside me. Lucas is my best friend, but he's so nosey he gets us into trouble in class alot. Today was most likely going to be no different. "Hey Luke" "𝙷𝚎𝚢 𝙺𝚒𝚔𝚒, 𝚑𝚘𝚠'𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚠𝚘?"

Yes, he knows. He was one of the first people to know. But enough about him. "They're fine, like always. Now shush or we're gonna get separated" When I look forward, I'm face to face with a button up shirt. My eyes follow upwards to the owners face. "Wₕy ₕₑₗₗₒ ₘᵢₛₛ ᵥₐₗₑₙₜᵢₙₑ, wₒᵤₗd yₒᵤ cₐᵣₑ ₜₒ ₛₕₐᵣₑ wₕₐₜ yₒᵤ ₐₙd ₘᵢₛₜₑᵣ ᵣₒₛₛ wₑᵣₑ ₜₐₗₖᵢₙg ₐbₒᵤₜ?" I gulp and take a glance at the board. Mr.Thorton. Sounds intimidating. "Uh, we....we were just saying good morning sir..." I look down embarrassed. "Wₑₗₗ gₒₒd ₘₒᵣₙᵢₙg ₜₒ yₒᵤ ₜₒₒ, ᵢ ₑₓₚₑcₜ ₙₒ ₜₐₗₖᵢₙg ᵢₙ ₘy cₗₐₛₛ ₙₒw, dₒ yₒᵤ ₕₑₐᵣ ₘₑ?" After a few seconds I slowly look up and nod. "Yes sir" 'My god he's rude!' 'He's not rude Ebony, he's just being firm. If he isn't like that, everyone in this room will act up' I give Luke the secret eye look. He shakes his head and rolls his eyes back at me. He can be so mean sometimes. Totally unfair.
