It's pretty late, a little bit after your bedtime. Your mom put you to bed and she's reading you a fairy tale to make you sleepy. Or rather she's trying!

You were laying in your bed cuddled to your mom's side. She was gentle stroking your head, when in the same time in other hand she had book, which she was reading for you. You had your teddy bear called Widow close to your chest. The only thing you could hear were loud rain falling on the window. That didn't help you sleep, cause what if that rain means thunderstorm is coming?

„The end.." Natasha whispered as she closed the book and checked on you if you're sleeping.

You looked up on her with your big, Y/E/C eyes.

„Alright," Your mom just sighed. „Why you're not sleeping baby?" She raised her eyebrow.

„I'm just not sleepy yet." You looked down, cause you lied to hide the truth you're afraid of this rain.

„Liar." She smirked and after a moment attacked you with tickling.

You giggled.

„Okay." She paused for a second to put book on your night stand. „We'll talk about it tomorrow." She said as she covered you with a duvet.

You hugged your teddy bear thight and smiled.

„Goodnight my sweet girl, I love you." She lowered herself to kiss your head.

„And I love you mama!" You said as you spread your hands for another hug - that just made you more calm.

She just smiled at your sweetness and lowered herself again to hug you thight and kiss your nose.

„Alright, go to sleep malyshka. It's late." Your mom said as she turned on your night light and turned off light.

You nodded and rolled yourself on the side.

„Сладкие сны (sweet dreams)" She smiled before leaving your room.

„спокойной ночи мама! (good night mom)" You said and then your heard your doors are closing.

„Hey and remember honey if something will be wrong, I'll be in my bedroom, okay?" She ajar the door to add.

„Okay!" You nodded.

Your mom smiled again and closed the door.

In this moment everything just got scarier. The rain was like louder. You just closed your eyes and tried fall asleep as soon as possible.

„Good night Widow. It's just a rain, right?" Your whispered to your toy.

Timeskip.

You jumped, when loud thunder woke you up. It was totally dark. Your night light didn't work. It was horrible. Your eyes filled with tears. Why thunder storms have to be so scary?

You jumped off your bed and ran straight to your mom's room.

Natasha's POV:

I got woke up by loud thunder. I checked the time. It was around 4 am. I rubbed my eyes and decided to go to toilet.

„Shit, Y/N." I whispered to myself, when I remembered how much my daughter is afraid of thunder storms.

I standed up and rushed to her room. In the corridor I heard something like sobbing?
Y/N's sobbing!

„Y/N/N, baby is that you?" I asked, cause it was completly dark. „Where are you?"

Then something something pulled my trouser leg.

I turned around and looked down. I saw my little girl with teary face.

„Mama.." Y/N whispered.

„Oh, my baby," I said as I picked her up quickly and hugged her thight. „Shhh.. I'm right here. Mommy's here." I rubbed her back to comfort her.

She just tied her hands around my neck and rested her head on my shoulder. I decided she'll sleep with me rest of the night and I carried her to my room.

Another thunder.

„Shhh.. Everything is fine detka." I said as I entered my room.

I put her in my bed and lied close next to her. I tied my arms around her.

„I was so scared mommy." She whispered sniffling.

„I know honey.. but I'm already right here." I said as I wiped her tears.

And another one thunder. Damn it.

Y/N jumped.

„Hey, hey sweetheart it's alright." I kissed her forehead. Then I got perfect idea how to helped my daughter.

„How about when I tell you Unce Thor is doing the thunder?" I raised my eyebrow.

She looked at me confused.

„For real." I smirked. „He has his hammer, right? And thanks to it he has power to do them."

„So that's all him!?" She asked me upset.

I giggled. „Yeah. He's just... making jokes of us!"

„Stupid." She said and looked intrested behind the window.

„I'll just pretend I didn't hear that." I smirked.

Y/N giggled.

Another loud thunder - but this time my daughter didn't get scared. She just waved to the sky behind the window saying „Hi Uncle Thor!"

My brave little girl!
