The jokes turned into a great quarrel. You argued with your mom the whole rest of the evening. You were so sick of this, you screamed at each other louder and louder, tears were running down your cheeks. And it's all completely for nothing.
"You know what!? I'm done! I'm leaving this shitty place." You screamed at your mom, when you grabbed your backpack to pack some stuff.
"No, you're not! And how do you speak to me!?" She questioned confused, cause you're never acting like that.
"Or what?" You asked sarcastically packing your things as fast as you could.
"For god sake, you're my kid! And I'm your mother! When I'm saying you're not going anywhere, you're not!" She shouted and crossed her arms.
"Well, mothers supposed to listen their child if you didn't know! I do have a reason why I pushed that bitch!" You turned around to face her and yelled with breaking voice.
You got cut off. "Hey! Watch your mouth, young lady!" She warned you for that word.
You rolled your eyes. "I do have a reason. I really do mom." You said a bit calmly and paused. "But you were so busy yelling at me, that you didn't even hear it." You stared straight in her eyes.
Your mom looked down.
"Right. Anyways, I'm leaving." You grabbed your backpack and rushed to the front doors.
She sighed. "Y/N! Damn it, I said something!" She followed you and tried to stop you.
"Oh, really!? I don't care!" You slammed the door and left the house.
Well you left, but didn't really know where you were going. You didn't take the money with you, so you couldn't even use the taxi. You walked through the city all in tears. At the moment you remembered in New York was one place that always had a door open for you.
You knocked hopefully someone will be home.
"Y/N? Hey! What are you doing here, kid?" Tony Stark opened the door, leaned against the doorframe and took sip of his coffee.
"Oh, Y/N/N! Sweetie, come in!" Pepper quickly peeked out of the other side of the door and gestured with her hands to get you inside. "You were going to stand outside with her like that?" She smirked to her husband and kissed softly his cheek.
"No, of course not." Tony rolled his eyes nervously and closed the door.
You sat on the sofa and wiped away your tears quickly that they didn't notice you were crying. You didn't want make such a big deal about it.
"Have fun, ladies. You'll find me in my lab." Tony said and rushed to his laboratory, probably to work on something.
"As always!" Pepper chuckled.
"Hey!" He pretended to be offended.
Then Pepper jumped next to you on the couch and wrapped her arm around you. "So how's school? How you- Wait." She paused and looked at your face. "Y/N you were crying."
You looked down and stayed quiet.
She raised your head with her hand. "Oh, honey, what's wrong? You know you can talk to me." She rubbed your back to comfort you.
