Today was not one of your best days, you felt so bad for being deaf, even if it wasn't your fault. You were angry why it must be you deprived of your voice and hearing. It was so unfair.

You were sitting in your room doing your homework, when you suddenly felt someone hugging you from behind.

You jumped up and turned around quickly to see who it was.

A big smiled appeared on your face. It was your mom.

*"You scared me, mom!"* You crossed your arms and gave her upset face.

You could noticed she chuckled. *I'm sorry, sweetie. I really didn't want to."* She smirked and kissed your forehead.

*"You're forgiven."* You smiled gentle.

She smiled at you and came closer to see what were you doing. *"Do you need help with homework, baby?"* She started reading your notes to see what subject is it.

*"I'm good, thank you."* Your smile disappeared.

Your mom noticed that and lowered herself to your hight in front of you. *"Hey, you alright, detka?"* She ran her hand down through your hair. *"Where my smiled girl went?"*

You looked at her, cause you didn't want worry her. You knew she has enough worries. You didn't want be another one. *"She's still here."* You gave her gentle smile and looked down.

She grabbed your cold hand and squeezed it lightly to get your attention. *"Dinner?"*

*"I'm starving."* You grabbed your stomach.

She stood up, pulled you softly to her side and put her arm on your shoulders around your neck.

You entered the dining room where your whole family also known as the Avengers were waiting for you two.

They all learned sign language just for you, it took a while but they managed! They didn't want you to feel bad in your own home.

*"There are our Romanoffs!"* Tony looked on you from behind his newspapers.

*"And you're Stark, I remember well?"* You smirked back and sat next to your mom at the table.

He smiled sarcastic back and hid behind his newspaper again.

Wanda was cooking and you smelled the air.

You were curious what's for dinner so you pulled your mom's hand lightly to get her attention, when she was talking.

*"Yes, sweetie?"* She tucked some hair behind your ear.

*"What's for dinner? It smells so good."* You looked into the kitchen.

On your left Wanda came with a plate. *"Baked vegetables!"* She signed and put plate in front of you.

You looked upset at your mom, when Wanda walked away cause you hated vegetables.

*"I want see empty plate, missy."* She smirked and stroked your head.

You rolled your eyes and started rummaging around the plate with her fork, looking for something edible.

After fifty minutes your plate was still full and no one was even paying attention. Everyone were talking and you didn't even know what about. That upset you and reminded of how your life sucks. You wanted to hear them so badly. At least once.

You started making louder noises with your fork, hoping it will work. Unfortunately.

You started signing up to your mom, but she didn't notice, because she was too busy talking.

You couldn't handle it, you were just helpless. Your eyes filled with tears. You weren't going to sit there any longer, you walked dramatically away from the table and ran to your room.

You jumped on you bed and cuddled to you blanket, overthinking why it had to be you.

After a while you felt that someone sat down on the bed behind you. You knew it was your mom that's why you didn't want to turn around.

She grabbed your shoulder and rolled you gentle on your back. When you caught eye contact with her green eyes, she stroked your head and wiped your tears.

She showed you to get up and sit in front of her. And that's what you did.

A moment later she started. *"Baby, what's happening?"* She signed and rubbed your shoulder to comfort you.

*"I'm sick of this."* You avoided her look.

*"Of what? I got you, sweetie."* She wiped your tears again, when they started falling again.

*"Of being deaf and mute, mom! It's so difficult to live like this. I can't handle it anymore."* You signed sobbing.

She made sad face at you. *"Oh sweetie, come here."* She spreaded her arms for you for a big, thight and warm hug which you dreamed about since this morning.

You just fell on her chest and cried out in her shoulder.

Your mom felt so bad for you, for that she couldn't help her own daughter, when she suffers.

She pushed you aways lightly. *"Y/N, that's why you're my priority. You're the strongest person I ever know on the whole world."*

You smiled gentle. *"But that makes me different. I don't want be different."* You looked down nervously.

She put her fingers under your chin to raise your head. *"That's right, that's makes you different a bit, even I don't think that way at all."*

You raised your eyebrow, cause you couldn't understand what she wanted to tell you.

*"People will say all sorts of things, mostly stupid things. But different doesn't make you weird, baby. That mean you're special and unique." She pointed on you touching your chest. *"You'll always be my special girl."* She stroked your cheek.

You couldn't stop your smile. You were smiling from ear to ear. Your mom was such a smart woman.

After a moment you finally signed. *"And you'll always be the best mom ever."*

Your mom smiled at your adorableness and wiped your last tear on your cheek. *"I love you the most, detka."* She grabbed your hand and smirked back.

*"You know, actually I love you more."* You smirked back and got attack by tickling monster.
