The stars were beautiful.

Sparkling diamonds of light in the night sky, each one alone yet more beautiful for it.

Yet...

So lonely...

Why had he taken his paints today, without them it didn't hurt so much.

He was unlucky with life.

Sure was the Creator.

Yet he was soulless, all of his emotions were false.

His memory was a broken mess, why he could never solve.

Note to self, on scarf... ask Error.

He fell in love even without the paints, yet his beloved claimed he loved him for the fact he was a being of emotions.

No, Ink had loved Dream in spite of his ability of positivity.

He'd known that without even the paints.

Dream had left, taking little Palette with him.

Palette, Ink could admit that as parents he and Dream were the worst parents and knew that in many ways Dream was the worse one. He knew he had memory and soulless emotion issues, but he did try his best his his son.

Dream could claim none of that, he claimed he was ever so busy keeping the multiverse positive that he was blind to everything else.

Ink wondered if there relationship, was one of those thing Dream was blind to.

He was a fool, but there was reasons he allowed Palette to pretty much live with Reaper and Goth and he knew Palette had a stable loving life there. He'd even spoken to both Reaper and Palette about it, knowing anything was better the static in there own home.

He was unlucky in life.

"Budge over.." a gruff voice said, Ink blinked and realized a tall glitching figure was now leaning over him.

Ink smiled and squiggled a bit, Error lay down next to him.

Yet.. maybe he wasn't alone, even if it was an enemy.
