Day 24: Tired

"Alright, I know something is wrong when you ignore me when I destroy a copy AU and you just ignore it," Error said, walking over to where Ink was curled up against a tree his arms hugging his knees to his chest.

"I'm... just so... tired," Ink replied slowly and softly, almost a whisper.

"I thought everything was going well, Blue said you have plenty of friends," Error said plopping down beside him, Ink didn't even twitch at the mention of Error and Blue talking. He'd known all along they were friends, he was very confused on why everyone seems to think he rescued the bundle of happiness from the Destroyer.

"It is, mostly. I don't know if there my friends, or the Creators friend," Ink admitted, and oh did that admission hurt. Blue was a friend  though, an awesome friend.

Just like the thought that everyone thought he was soulless, and drank paint for emotions.

Really, who started that rumor?

"Dream?" Error asked his counterpart.

"Sometimes I wonder, if he even understands what we are. Blue gets it, but you sat down and explained everything to him. Were suppose to fight when were on our duties, we were brought onto these jobs for Fates balance," Ink said with an angry huff.

"Please tell me, hes not on another crazy theory on how Nightmares corruption happened and nothing is his fault?" Error asked hopefully, Ink whimpered and sometimes really wished he'd never introduced Dream to the greater multiverse.

"He thinks you invaded Dreamtale and corrupted him, playing puppet master," Ink said in disbelief.

"What is wrong with him," Error said in disbelief.

"I just escaped him after a three day rant, just because he doesn't need to sleep doesn't mean I don't need it," Ink said, craving the nirvana of sleep.

"Take a nap Ink, we can continue the balance once you sleep," Error said, Ink gratefully fell asleep leaning against Error.

Error was always awesome.
