I was once a Sinner.

Truly, I'm a great sinner

Tainted with dark spots of evil

Corrupted by sin itself!

Death, the greatest toll

For my soul born flawed with darkness!

From the start of disobedience

Wanting to be as gods and

Forsaking their walk with God

Did evil had penetrated the very heart of man

Causing eternal burden to you and I!

We are damned. All of us!

No worth of walking the streets of gold

Not of the littlest worth to enter the pearly gates

And dwell sweetly in flawless eternity!

Yes we are, on the fast race to the abyss.

But God, of His great love and mercy

Did His Son came and died for me!

As to fulfil the prophecy, He walked the earth

Lived a man's life and served like a servant

He was the living Messiah.

His blood shed on the cross of Calvary,

The pain He felt on the hands of man

The mockery and crown of thorns

While angles stood horrified waiting for His

Command to wipe all evil out - all was for amazing love and mercy!

He gave up the ghost

And the temple veil ripped in two.

And lo, in 3 days did He arise

Conquering death and

Shattering evil on their feet!

He is risen and so is the hope for all!

He sacrificed His life for me to gain mine.

And yes, by grace I am saved.

I knelt and sobbed.

I poured my heart in a manner I would never do to anyone else.

I repented of my sins.

I asked for forgiveness.

I asked for Him to be my personal Savior.

I asked for a new life

And an eternal one with Him.

The peace and joy I felt within

Made my heart grateful and full of hymns!

The lightness and hope He's given me

Has inspired me greatly, living life with

The likeness of Him.

I'm a new creature in Christ!

Toiling has been harder but I've been stronger.

I rest each time when the moon shines in the sky

With a smile on my wrinkled face

Forever thankful for my wonderful Savior

And looking forward to my heavenly home.
