I lived out in the country. I had just arrived home from hell aka school. I lived by myself mostly. I had my farm animals and a grandma who would visit often.
It was dark and quiet. All I could hear was the trees dancing with the wind. I opened my trunk and grabbed my big stack of school papers. I slammed the door shut and locked the truck. I went to walk away but something stopped me. The end of my sweater was stuck in the door. I yanked on it frustrated. It came out but it was torn. I wanted to stomp my feet and cry like a baby. I had so much stress right now with handling school and money. I didn't need this too
I started toward my door again but some rebellious papers decided to fly away. I huffed and slammed a book on top of my remaining well behaved sheets of paper. I ran toward the woods desperate.
The leaves on the tall trees rustled and scratchy branches reached for my arms. I sighed in relief when I saw a flash of white in the bushes. I stuck my hand into the picky branches and leaves of a bush, fishing around for my papers. My heart stopped when I touched something familiar, skin. I started to back away but it grabbed me and pulled me through the bush. The big dark figure hovered over me. I slammed against the ground wincing in pain. My bones crumbled under its weight. It's huge meaty hand hit my forehead against the dirt holding me down. I couldn't fight back. I was stuck. After everything I have done I was going to die like this. I prayed slightly muttering under my breath.
It tore at my flesh and I cried out in agony. I could feel my blood ooze out of my skin. I could hear droplets of my blood splash and soak into the ground. It's teeth were dull but sunk deep into my muscles. My conscious was fading. I wouldn't survive.
The last thing I saw was it's face. It was human. He had wide psycho looking eyes and messy black hair. His lips were covered in my blood.
Cannibal.
