CHAPTER FIVE

Tris' POV

I find Tobias in the cafeteria, sipping on his water... an empty seat next to him. I smile a little and walk over to him.

"Four, I need to talk to you... now!" He nods his head and stands up from the table. I lead him out into the hallway. "Do you remember the last jumper, Matt?" He nods his head, so I continue. "I talked to him and he said that Corie is his sister." There's a long pause. Finally Tobias speaks.

"Corie talked to me after the fight today-"

"YOU LET THAT GIRL TALK TO YOU?!" I can feel my face turning red with birse! Tobias brushes my hair behind my ear.

"It's ok, I made sure she kept it brief." He leans in to kiss me. I kiss back. He slides his hand around my neck and I run my fingers through his hair. I pull back, but keep my fingers in his hair.
"After training lets go see the Amity." He nods. I kiss him again, just right so I can breathe with him. I feel his lips against mine and I remember why I love him, apart from being tough, he's sensitive. He slides his hand off my neck and wraps it around my waist. He pulls me closer, so close I can almost feel his heart beating. I hear Dauntless shouts and I pull away. I smile at him, he smiles back. And I know he's happy just by his smile.

Tobias' POV

I finished training a half hour ago. I walk to the apartment to meet Tris. When I open the door Christina sits on the bed next to her.
"Tobias!" Tris motions me over. "Don't you agree that we're really busy today and Chris should go home and come back another day?" Tris turns to look at me, I start to smile. I get lost in her eyes I forget that she asked me a question until she gave me a look.
"Oh, um yeah. We have to go to some Dauntless examination and testing. Maybe another day Christina." Christina smirks at me, but then walks out. "Ready to go?" Tris nods her head vigorously. We walk out of the compound and catch the train just as its leaving. I sit down at the end of the train car and she comes and sits next to me. She looks at me and I smile again. I intertwine my fingers with hers, locking our hands. She lays her head on my shoulder, and I kiss her forehead. I can feel her smiling. We remain silent for the train ride, listening to the tracks make noise. I look out the door, we're at Abnegation. I saw another person with a mirror. I'm beginning to worry, but I don't tell Tris. It's her born faction, to her it's home. To me, it's a nightmare. Tris lifts her head up and looks at me.
"I know what you're thinking." she says. She slowly unbuttons my shirt. "And I see Dauntless as my home now." She pulls my shirt down off my shoulders, then lays against my chest. I wrap my arm around her. She slowly drifts to sleep. I still don't tell her I worry about Abnegation...
