Chapter Four
Tobias' POV
After the incident with Corie I carried Tris to the infirmary. It's been almost three hours, I didn't realize she hit her that hard but she hit Tris in her weak spot.
"Tris?" I pick up her hand. I see her roll over.
"Tobias," she says "I can't believe I lost to her!"
"Don't worry! Now come on let's get back to the apartment!" I lead her back to the apartment and sat her on the bed. There's a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I say. I walk over to the door and wrap my hand around the doorknob. As I start to turn it someone barges in... Corie!
"Well hello Four! I thought this was the dorm!" She shoved me to the side and walked in to find Tris asleep on my bed. "What is she doing here? Oh well it doesnt matter, looks like there's a second bed." She grabs my arm and pulls me towards my spare bed I got ealier. I jerk away abruptly stopping her. "What is it? I thought we had something."
"WE didn't have anything, YOU thought we had something!" I open the door and gesture her out. "Get out of my apartment and get out my life AND Tris' life!" she slowly gets up an walks out. I slam the door behind her which wakes Tris up. "It was Corie. If she bothers you again I want you to come and get me! Ok?" she nods her head yes, I lay down beside her and we slowly drift off to sleep.•••
Tris' POV
I wake up to the smell of burnt eggs... Christina must be visiting. I slowly move Tobias' arm off my chest, get up and walk to the kitchen.
"Chris, what are you doing here? With burnt eggs?" I ask her, dumping the eggs out the window.
"Just wanted to come see how life is!" She replied.
"Well, we're really busy today. Come back another day!" I motion her towards the door. I shut the door, cutting off her chance to speak. I hear Tobias walking around, most likely to the shower. When he gets out I sit down next to him.
"Remember what you said about the Abnegation being selfish? Well I went to check it out and I saw Amity farmers fighting...except the divergents." I tell him.
"How about, after training we have a look, then I have a surprise planned for you!" He gets dressed and we go to the initiate dorm. Finally I get the pan! Today is the last day of physical training, which means tomorrow is capture the flag! I stand on the staircase, watching the clock. Waiting for the right time. Finally it's time! I bang the pan against the wall as hard as I can!
"Everyone to the rings, two minutes! This is the last day of physical training!" I yell. When everyone arrives, we assign fights.
"First jumper against last jumper!" Tobias calls out. Corie and Matt walk to the center ring, ready to fight. We watch them beat each other for a good five minutes, finally Matt concedes. Corie praises herself. I help Matt up, his nose covered in blood. Tobias takes over while I take him to the infirmary.
"You ok?" I ask him, dabbing his nose with a cloth.
"Yeah. There's something you should know about Corie." I stop dabbing his nose and stare at him. "She's my sister."
