»We need to get out of here as soon as possible.« Jaeyun said as he walked up and down next to the window with slow steps, searching for a way to climb out. Deep in thoughts, he started biting his lips. Climbing out of the classroom wasn't a necessarily bad idea, with an emergency ladder attached at the corner of the building, but it surely wasn't an option climbing out of a classroom and being witnessed by hundreds of students attending the festival at that moment. They would get in trouble immediately.

»To directly run into his hands?« Jisu opened his arms into Jaeyun's direction for demonstration.

»He probably isn't on our floor yet, but still searching the first one.« Jaeyun responded. However, the first floor mostly consisting of offices, there was a high chance for Kyungho to finish his search fairly quickly.

»We don't know where he is.« Woonggi admitted.

»It doesn't matter, we are too obvious here because all other doors are kept open for the club presentations later.« Chihoon said calmly, trying to come up with a plan to leave the building. One of the vents above him caught his eyes. Yet they had to get down, not up.
»This means, as soon as Kyungho searches the second floor, he will notice our room the only one to be locked.« He lowered his head.

»Why are you so smart?« Woonggi said with a surprised voice. His eyes extended while the oldest just smiled softly in response before getting out a notebook along with a pen. Woonggi immediately snatched it and started scribbling. »I am good at drawing, trust me.« He said while swiftly connecting a few lines and labeling unrecognizable squares.

»Here.« He presented his vaguely drawn map of the school grounds with a proud smile.
»We have two staircases here, one on the end of this hallway that leads up to the higher floors and one directly to our left, that leads down to the first.« Chihoon started explaining, his finger calmly shifting over the paper.

»Going up is not an option. It's a dead end.« There was a brief silence after Jisu's words. Heads being nodded with serious gazes at once.

»But going down, neither! What if he comes up at the moment we go down? Or see him on the first floor somewhere.« Jerome whisper-yelled suddenly. And he was absolutely right. This situation was highly inconvenient, no matter how you'd turn or twist it.

»What if we go down and mix into the crowd? He will not be able to see us easily.« Woonggi tried to peek out of the window slowly.

»To do so, we'd need to go down to the first floor and run to the entrance of the inner courtyard.« Jisu said while shaking his head. »If he looks out of the windows even once and spots us, he can block our way back into the building. Then we are trapped.«

»Same with the front yard.« Jerome pointed at Woonggi's map.

»Is it that necessary to hide, though? What can possibly happen if we stayed here?« Woonggi stood quietly by the window, looking at the happy students enjoying the festival. Several games being played, accompanied by loud music. The other boys took a look at Woonggi's back in disbelieve.

»Woonggi, let's just put you in front of this classroom and see what happens when Kyungho finds you.« Jaeyun smiled mischievously yet ironically.

»Y'all scary.« Woonggi turned around with a big pout.

»You don't want a loud argument happening in a hallway, attracting teachers and students on the day of one of our most important festivals. Eventually having to avoid a real fight and still having to take care of crying Minsu in a corner. We would totally get suspended for this.« Chihoon explained seriously. Listing all possible, yet disastrous, outcomes. Woonggi just shook his head and sat back down on his chair without a comment.
