Jeyou got up from the couch in disbelief. It wasn't possible for him to vanish just like this, right? Jerome probably wouldn't know about the busses in this part of the city Jeyou was living. The only option to get out of here would be Chihoon or a taxi. Jeyou looked around the room. The plates of food from the day before were piled up on the table and the TV seemed to be on stand by. He stared at the coffee table for a while, realizing there was Jerome's phone laying next to the TV remote.»Good morning, Jeyou hyung~« Jerome came out of the bathroom with a towel on his shoulder while wearing the same clothes he wore for sleeping. Jeyou turned around with a gasp of relief escaping his lips.
»Good morning.« Jeyou examined Jerome from top to bottom with a drilling gaze. »I was afraid you were already gone...« He scratched his head and picked up the pile of shirts from the table.
»Why would I?« The tall blonde boy looked dumbfounded at Jeyou's sudden statement. He didn't understand what he meant. Jeyou walked back into his room to place the pile of shirts back into his closet. It was fine for Jeyou thinking of how they shared a single blanket and pillow since they were friends by now, but looking at Jerome's clothes he wore to bed, Jeyou got embarrassed and started to blush slightly. Jerome still stood in the middle of the living room, only in his underwear and a big, wide t-shirt. Suddenly he started to take care of the remaining food and plates on the coffee table in front of the TV.
Jeyou changed into new clothes and picked out another t-shirt and shorts for Jerome to wear to school, since Jeyou's jeans would probably be too short for him.
»Here, try this on and stop walking around in your underwear.« Jeyou tossed him the clothes while looking away from Jerome, and walking into the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
»It's comfy, though~« Jerome whined quietly, and went to the bathroom to change into the clothes. They fit pretty well, considering the height difference of both of them. While Jerome was taking a further look at his hair, Jeyou already set the table for breakfast. They didn't have that much time left, so they would eat and hurry out soon, since Jeyou's cousin would pick them up.
As soon as the car pulled over, Jeyou sat down at the front seat, while leaving Jerome in the back by himself.
»Wow, you got someone really handsome here~« His cousin whispered to Jeyou secretly. He just turned away to look out of the window with a slight smile that his cousin of course noticed.
»Hello! I'm Oh Jerome, nice to meet you.« Jerome seemed very excited when meeting new people and couldn't quiet down for a few minutes. As expected, he would get along with everyone. His friendly and energetic aura was comfortable for people around him. The few minutes it took to get to the school seemed like a few seconds. All three were chatting and laughing happily. Even Jeyou couldn't hide his smile and tried to distract himself by looking at the view.
»You know, I am grateful Jeyou is so happy with you...« His cousin said suddenly, causing the boys to freeze and stop talking. Jeyou looked at his cousin in disbelief and tried to gesture him to stop saying something like that, but it didn't work out.
»He was pretty grumpy lately. But nowadays, he changed a lot.« His cousin smiled and pulled over next to the school grounds. Both of them didn't know what to say. Jeyou seemed genuinely uncomfortable and annoyed.
»Thank you so much for taking me with you!« Jerome exclaimed as he got off the car and closed the door with a smile. At a distance, he already saw Chihoon and Woonggi standing at the entrance.
»Are you okay?« Jerome grabbed Jeyou's arm and looked at him worriedly. He just stared at the ground and kicked some small stones with his feet, his hands hidden in his pockets.
