happy birthday

y/n's pov

I was still lying on the bed.
the snow continued to descend without stopping.
I stretched my eyes and yawned silently.
I turned to my man.

today was his birthday.
he was still sleeping heavily and you could tell from the fact that he kept his mouth slightly open and lay on his stomach.

I stretched out better towards him, on my right side.
"Love"
I whispered
he made no movement.
"timmy honey ..."
I whispered again

he had no intention of waking up.
i giggled and started blowing on his face.

I walked over with a smile and continued to blow.

I was stopped by his arm as it jumped up and landed on my face, showing a smile on his face.

"hey!"
I yelled laughing.

with his arm he went down to my side and took it, pulling me towards him.
I got really close to his lips, he started blowing on my face, as I had done with him just before.
I smiled and so did he.
Without realizing it he was kissing me.
It was a really sweet, almost melancholy kiss.

As soon as he finished he hugged me tightly and put his head on the hollow of my neck, leaving little kisses.

I took his face in my hands and this time it was I who stamped to him a kiss.
"happy birthday love"

he looked at me with shining eyes.
"Thanks sweetheart"
he gave me a quick kiss.
"I have a big big big big gift for you today"
"a gift?"
he asked surprised
"Yes, why? It's your birthday timmy and you deserve much more than a gift"
I said.
he rested his chin on my breastbone.
"Because ... no one has ever given me presents on my birthday, because it's two days after Christmas ..."
he said stroking my cheek.
I took his hand with one hand.
"I'm so sorry."
I said placing my other hand on his soft curls.
"You're the first to give me a birthday present. God ... what have I done to deserve you ..."
He jerked up to me and kissed me, more intensely this time

"Shall we go for breakfast?"
I asked
"Mhmh"
he mumbled, pulling himself off of me.
I took his hand and carried him downstairs with me.

the table was set with many different foods and the package with the gift inside.

"Y/n..."
"What? you do not like it?"
he turned to me.
"I love it"
he rested his forehead on mine.

"Do you want to open the gift and then eat or eat and then open the gift?"
I asked taking his cheeks with my hands
"Eat and then open the gift"
he replied, rubbing our noses together
I nodded and we finally sat down at the table.

I took some pictures of him while he ate smiling.
it gave me so many intense looks, as if it were the first time we were together.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because I love you"
he said, handing me a chocolate covered strawberry.

we finished eating and I handed him the package.
"Happy Birthday Timothée"

he gave me a quick kiss and whispered a 'thank you'.
he unpacked it and found us a two plane tickets for a 2 weeks in Italy.
He really loves Italy so much and wanted to visit it after being there to film 'call me by your name'.
"No, you didn't really ..."
I smiled while continuing to nod.
"Oh y/n... I fucking love you"
he jumped out of his chair and picked me up.
"When will we leave?"
"tomorrow"
"What? But with my work? I'm filming a movie, I can't- "
"I spoke to the director and he gave me the ok. He told me we can take this vacation right away. "
"Oh how much I love you, y/n "
