Timothée's pov
A ray of sunshine lights up my eyes, making me wake up.
The blankets no longer covered my bare chest.
I took a deep breath and brushed my hair away from my face.
I turned my head to y/n.
She was still sleeping.
Man, how beautiful she is.
Even while she sleeps she gives me butterflies in my stomach.
I moved a lock of hair from her face to get a better look at her.
I followed all the features of her perfect face.
"I love you"
i said.
She smiled slightly and put her hand on my chest, above my heart.
She opened her eyes.
"Sorry, it wasn't my intention to woke you up."
I whispered grabbing her hand.
She came over and I kissed her lips softly.
Fuck... that feeling.
She stood up to the side.
"Breakfast?"
She said.
I was still staring at her, until I noticed...
"Hey, what's that red mark on your face? It looks like a scratch"
She touched her cheek.
"Oh, that's the sign of a crease in the pillow. I think I slept on it all night."
She said.
I took her arm
"There are scratches here too"
I said touching them with my hands.
"Timothée, it's just the signs of the folds of the pillow or the blankets. Nothing serious. Don't worry."
She said to reassure me.
"Sorry, I just want nothing to hurt you"
I said looking into her eyes.
She continued to look at me."I know a legend about these 'scratches'..."
"Tell me"
She said approaching me.
She moved one leg over mine, her hand still on my bare chest.
"Women were initially created by the devil..."
I said touching her sweet face.
"The devil had created them to seduce men and lead them towards evil..."
I continued
"God knew that women were pure and innocent beings, they were forced by the devil to do those things, so, God blessed them, bringing them to earth, to give families to men and be loved as they deserved"
I said in a calm, hoarse tone.
"Go on... I want to know"
She begged me
"Since women have been on earth, red marks cover their bodies after the night. These red scratches are called 'devil's marks'"
I continued
"It is said that the devil arrives on earth during the night and tries to take back all the women God has taken from him to bring them back to hell"
I finished, touching her face.
She looked at me spellbound.
"Do you think it's true?"
She asked me.
"I think so...""But then who is really the devil?"
"I think this legend is a metaphor. The real devil is the man... man does not deserve and never will deserve women."
I replied.
"Do you think I'm from hell? Do you think I'm just an object of lust?"
I was shocked by the words that came out of her mouth.
"Oh no y/n... you are a fallen angel from heaven, which God has entrusted to me."——————————————————————————
Hi y'all!!!
I know that Timothée is the man who respects women.
And I also know he's the kind of man who could say that.
Man, how much I love him.
This story came to my mind with the famous painting "the last judgment" by Michelangelo.I remind you that English is not my first language, I am still studying it, so I ask you to be kind.
