She got a new way of saying goodbye.

I woke up remembering the events of yesterday. I never had the courage to ask Nayeon about the kisses she gave me even after we went home. And yet, those kisses haunted me early in the morning. I couldn't get it off my head.

I couldn't get her out of my mind.

She texted me late in the afternoon if she could drop by to watch a TV show with me. As usual, I initially hesitated. A part of me still wanted to stay away from her, but a bigger part of me wanted her company, so I said yes.

We really did watch a TV show side by side on the sofa. It was a cooking show and when it was finished we shared a meal that we ordered from somewhere. Then I drove her back to her apartment, because apparently she took a cab going to mine.

Contrary to the blood-rushing, adrenaline inducing, experience and sensations I felt yesterday, the time I spent with her today was actually pretty calm and far from our normal adrenaline packed moments. I liked the small talks we shared and even the comfortable silence that passed between us. I liked it and I thought it would end that way.

However, before she went out of my car, she cupped my face and gave me a lingering kiss that completely made my brain stop.

"By, Jagi. See you tomorrow!"

And there she went, completely okay, while I was left inside my car, with my heart racing.

The promise of seeing her tomorrow made my already racing heart beat even crazier.

"I might die because of Arrhythmia."

Her 'Hello' Also levelled up

Nayeon asked me if I could pick her up from a friend's house, in which I didn't know that she was referring to Twice's dorm. And I don't know what was going on with my life because I had too much free time on my hands, so I agreed.

I realized that without Sooyoung and since YG is still busy with their other groups, I've got a lot of time. Time that I didn't mind spending with Nayeon, I admit.

She's nice, okay? and kind of an okay company to be with...

When she entered my car, she greeted me excitedly.

"Hi!"

Then her lips touched mine as quickly as it got away. But the feeling was etched on my whole being.

"Sorry for the trouble...." She kept talking as if kissing me was totally normal.

Even though I didn't hear the entirety of her rambling I just smiled as if I understood what she just said.

I swallowed an invisible lump of saliva "No problem, so where to go?"

"To my apartment. I have Ice Cream" She beamed.

I chuckled involuntarily because really, Ice Cream? It wasn't that appealing to me but she seemed to think it's everyone's favorite and could make everything better.

"Alright"

The whole ride to her apartment was spent in silence. We didn't talk about the kiss. As if it was a normal thing to do between us. We just hummed along the music.
