Welcome to the once great country of Ravka. The country that is now in a seemingly endless war, something having literally split the country in two. That thing, called The Fold. There are armies fighting this war, just like any other. The First and the Second Army. The First Army is what you'd expect it to be. Normal soldiers, going to war. Fighting against the mysterious darkness called the Fold. But the Second Army is different. The Second Army consists of people called Grisha. Girsha people are special in many different ways, specifically in Small Science. Small Science which allows them to do magical things. People who could control air, water, or fire. People who could control people's body chemistry to heal or harm them. People who can work with metals and alchemy to make better technology for the world. How will they work together to beat this war? Could the First Army stand the snobby witches? Will the Second Army be able to stand the rude people who bullies them? Will some of the First Army discover they're Grisha? Will they be able to end the Fold?
