35| Prom Night Pt. 2

LIAM

"This is just a parking lot." She said in confusion.

"Well duh!!" I say.

She raised an eyebrow at me, "Well..."

I grabbed a hold of her hand and walked her towards the motorcycle, "Look at this sweet, sweet ride!!" I say probably with the biggest smile ever. She was not amused.

"Its a bike, wow!" She says in a monotone voice. I rolled my eyes, "Yeah its a bike that you're going to get on." I say slowly so she understands.

"Hell no!"

She placed her hands on her hips, "If you may or may not have notice I'm black," She says gesturing down her body, "And when black people know something is dangerous or they know there is danger ahead they stay away and go back inside to eat some ice-cream where its safe."

He let out a sigh, "Are you serious?" He questioned.

"Hell yeah I am! Where did you even get this from anyway we drove with Jake."

"Well," I start to rub the back of my neck, "This is my friends and I may or may not have stole his keys from him while he was dancing. I mean its not stealing if you give it back to him later."

She looked at me stunned, I could tell she was trying to find the words to say, so before she did I placed the helmet on her head.

She rolled her eyes and gave in and got on the bike.

"I'm a pro trust me, I won't hurt you." I smirk and gets on the bike.

"Hold on to me, you don't wanna go flying off now." I chuckle. "You know you're not making this any better!" She huffs, wrapping her arms around my waist.

I tensed up when her whole front was basically on my back, "Y-you," I cleared my throat, "You ready?" I questioned.

"Fuck no!"

I let out a laugh and drove out of the parking lot, she let out a squeal and held me tighter.

"OH MY GOD!" She exclaimed excitedly, getting off the bike and taking her helmet off of her, "I thought I was going to die! But, that was freaking awesome!!"

She started to look around, "Where exactly are we?" She questioned.

I grabbed a hold of her hand and went inside the building, she was asking questions but I didn't answer her we just kept on jogging up the stairs.

Until, we finally reached the top. I opened the doors her eyes went wide, "Wow!" She says in amazement, she walked up to the ledge, "I figured you haven't seen the city, since you got here. Think of it as me giving you the best view ever." I looked down at her she was still in awe.

She looked up at me and gave me a toothy smile, "Thank you." She sweetly says.

I've never felt so utterly week around someone before, she makes me want to drop to my knees and obey every word that falls from her pink plump lips.

"Ni-."

I felt something wet hit my nose, I looked up at the sky and more droplets of water hit my face.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

"Oh shit it's drizzling." Nia chuckled and looked up at the sky, closing her eyes.

"Hey," She started to stare at me, "We really never danced." She lets out, holding out her hand.

I take her hand and with her free hand she pulls out her phone in the rain so that she can turn on music, it's faintly heard in the rain.

"Rain really smells b-"

Before she could finish I smashed my lips against hers.

Before I could finish my sentence Liam had kissed me. It wasn't that type of kiss that screamed I want you nor was it the type to scream I need you. It was the type that somehow slowly whispered that I want to be with you forever.

The rain runs down our faces to where our lips meet, each of us tasting the cold drops. Okay but, rain kinda taste good. Why am I thinking at a time like this?! Liam pushes his lips in more firmly and the wave that runs through me is intoxicating, making my head swim as I pull back to take in his beautiful face.

"I like you," He paused, "Nah, fuck that shit, I fucking love you!"

A small crept onto my face, he loves me, he loves me!! Bitch he loves ME!!! Bro! Shut up thoughts!! Damn.

"I'm not perfect, but I love you. I really do. You're the only one who fought for me and made me believe that I was worth it. I don't know what's going to happen in the future," He brushed the hair out of my face that was sticking to my head and rested his forehead on mine. "But right now all I fucking want is you."

"Listen... This is cute and all but..." I say in a high pitched voice, he backed up, "You don't feel the same way." He says finishing my sentence.

"I understand I did break up with you already, and I love you that was way over the to-"

I let out a giggle, and grabbed him by the tie and pulled him closer to my lips and kissed him. I pulled away, "I was kidding. I love you too dummy." I softly say.

I backed away, getting a head start for when he starts to chase me, "You are a softy all this time I just thought you was some big muscular Grinch but turns out you're are a huge softy." I say with the most innocent smile ever.

"Softy? I am not soft, I'm as hard as they come."

I started to laugh, "Hard as they come?" I say through laughs.

"Okay, dirty mind!" He says running up to me, "We are going to fall off this building!!" I say through laughs, "It's slipper- Oh shit!" I slipped on a puddle of water that formed and I was going down.

I fell on my ass, now my ass is all fucking wet. I looked up at Liam he was smirking down at me, "You let me fall." I say through gritted teeth.

"He crossed his arms, "See, I'm not soft." He says with a smirk, proving his point.

"Why don't you come down here and show me tough boy!"

"How about you get up and then I'll show you, I'm not getting on that dirty ass ground."

"You my friend are so annoying!" I groaned, getting up.

"Friend?"

"I mean yeah," I started to tap my finger on my chin, "I didn't hear you ask me out." I say.

The rain had finally stopped falling, and all you could see now were the stars.

"You know if you're going to ask me out let's try to at least date for more then a week this time."

"Two weeks?"

"Three?"

He grabbed a hold of my waist and pulled me closer, "How about forever?"

"Dating forever we mine as well get married-" I paused catching on what he was saying.

"I mean where seniors, graduating in like two days, we have our whole life ahead of us but," he paused, "Let's get through two weeks and see what happens." He wipes a raindrop off of my face, "So... Round two?"

"Round two!" I giggle, he pulled me in and kissed me once more.

Look ma, I found the one... at least I think so.
