As CJ cries at the realization that L is now gone. He grabs his phone then calls a random number. A voice can be heard on the other line "hello" the voice said "hey is my house still active?" said CJ "yes I've been paying for it since you left, why what happened?" said the voice "L's gone, he died at the hands of Light Yagami" said CJ. CJ then spoke "tell the kids I'm coming back, for good this time" "really? said the voice " that's good to hear I'll be sure to tell them of your arrival when you get there". "Thanks" said CJ
He then gets up and looks in his room he then grabs his grey backpack and packs up everything that he needs that are essential to him. He then zips up his grey book bag and hoists it on his back he then walks to his body mirror then stares at it.
As he stares at it he senses a presence he then turns around and sees Ryuk sitting on his and L's bed he gives CJ a look of gratitude and CJ gives Ryuk a nod. He then turned around and casted a portal. He then looks back at Ryuk which bids him goodbye. CJ waves back then enters the portal. After that the portal disappears.
