8. The nice brother

-Alex's POV-

Oh I'm so happy! Sebastian has decided to date me! Maybe we might even get married!

I smiled happily as I thought about it and giggled softly. I was currently sitting at the table in the kitchen as my mom made breakfast.

I hummed softly and saw that Jeff came down the stairs. I thought he was going to come sit down at the table like he always does so mom doesn't start yelling at him about how we need to be a family as he is normally walking out the door by that time. This time was different he just walked into the kitchen got a water bottle his hair hiding his face as he walked out but stopped as Sebastian reached the end of the stairs.

Him stopping was only hesitant as he quickly pushed past Sebastian, making sure not to touch him in any way.

I had noticed Sebastian had a sad look on his face as he watched Jeff walk by. I decided to shake my head and smile brightly deciding not to let it get to me.

"Sebastian!" I said giggling happily. "Good morning!" I said and he slowly walked over and sat down.

"Yeah" he said softly "morning" was the only replies I got before he rest his head against the table.

Soon dad came in and he smiled brightly at me telling me good morning. I smiled brightly back and said good morning as well.

Everything besides Jeff and Sebastian seemed perfectly fine but then again nothing with Jeff is normal.

He thought he was the mate of Sebastian after all and it's obvious that he likes me if he's dating me and not him. Though I don't really feel the pull of our spirits I'm pretty sure we can and will pass as mates.

Father sat down and drank his cup of coffee as he watched mom cook. Sebastian had his head on the table and when dad asked him anything he wouldn't answer. He just got really tense and would stay to himself. He must be thinking.

Mom walked over and set food in front of us and asked where Jeff was and dad just scoffed.

"He doesn't need to be at the table anymore. Or for the matter he shouldn't live here." He said in a disgusted voice.

What happened to where dad didn't like Jeff anymore? I mean I knew he didn't like him before because I mean come on. I'm mom and dad's favorite, along with Sebastian as he chose me over him. Practically everyone doesn't like him and if they do then they like me better.

I covered my mouth to hide the smile that slipped onto my face before I changed my facial expression to one of sadness and confusion.

"What do you mean dad?" I asked and he just shook his head.

"Nothing Alex" he said smiling.

I nodded my head and Sebastian seemed to curl in on himself before getting up and leaving the room. I shrugged slightly and ate my breakfast in a very happy mood.

It's about time he's going to get kicked out.
