5. A kiss and a dinner

-Jeff's POV-

He leaned down and kissed me, making my face go a bright pink since I didn't think he would.

I heard a growl behind us but paid no mind to it as I slowly started to melt into the kiss starting to kiss him back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck blocking out my wolf whimpering saying that this wasn't my mate. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer than I was and I had nothing wrong with that as he made the kiss deeper.

After a few seconds passed we pulled away, me panting a bit heavily while he was only panting lightly. He smiled at me and nuzzled his head into my neck.

"What do you want to eat?" he asked me while gently nipping my neck.

"I-I don't know" I said blushing a bit deeper trying not to get excited and have a friend pop up.

"Come on I think I know somewhere you would like." he smiled standing up and held my hand as I got up and we both walked out of the movie theater.

He smiled as he hummed a song and walked to his car opening my door for me then shut it once I got in.

He drove us to a casual diner, like a cafe, I smiled because this seemed perfect. I wasn't that into expensive things, I don't think you can win someone over just by buying them things.

I believe if you love the person and they love you, then you shouldn't have to get expensive things just to show it.

I got out and Mike pouted once he saw I was already out of the car, seeing his face made me think of a little kid and made him cuter. I giggled and walked over to him and hugged him making sure to make it tight so he knew it was fine missing this one time. After a few minutes I felt him shift in my hug and started to hug back.

I smiled up at him and walked inside, him following behind me. A nice woman sat us at a table and smiled sweetly.

"Hi Mike, long time no see" she smiled and Mike nodded smiling back.

"Well aren't you going to introduce me?" she asked nudging Mike in the side and smiled at me.

"Oh yes" he smiled, "this is Jeff" he said happily. She smiled and held out her hand which I took and shook, "My name is Linda" she said and nodded her head.

"What would you two like to drink?" she asked pulling out a notepad and a pen.

"A diet coke" Mike said and Linda sighed shaking her head and looked at me.

"That's all this boy drinks, he used to drink it as a child as well but he drinks it even more now." she said and smiled once I chuckled and saw him blush.

"Well what will you be having to drink?" she asked looking at me again.

"Umm a coke?" I more asked than told but she nodded and smiled before leaving to get our drinks.

"No diet?" he asked raising his eye-brow, "man I must be crazy trying to get you." he said before laughing and smiling, "just kidding"

"Mhmm and I must be crazy getting together with you!" I said giggling softly.

I stopped for a bit waiting for his reaction, after a few minutes of I assume him waiting for a 'just kidding' he looked at me confused and with a slight pout.

"Just kidding" I said and the lady came back with our drinks.

Our night was filled with stories and laughter, but all the way through I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching us, well me.
