I woke up hearing people talking and what sounded like people walking around. I look over to my clock on my night stand. 8:03. Wow! This is different seeing that I usually wake up around 12:00. I got dressed and went over to my suit case to get my diary, tucked away under all my clothes. I went over to my bed, grabbing the pen that was set on the night stand. Just as I put the pen down to the paper someone walked in. I looked up a bit startled by this unexpected guest but was quickly relieved once I was realized who it was. "Good morning beautiful!" Jimmy said making me blush a bit. "Hello Jimmy!" I said in a very cheerful tone. "How was your night? Did you sleep well?" "It was good! The bed is a bit uncomfortable but it's fine!" "Well I have good news for you Rose!" "WHAT IS IT!" "You get to find out after breakfast! Now let's go!" Jimmy waved for us to leave. I wasn't a big fan of surprises. I like to know stuff immediately. If your not gonna tell me now, then don't tell me at all! There was a huge selection for breakfast. Bacon, Eggs, Pancakes, Toast, Omelets. You name it, and I'm pretty sure it would be there! I sat with everyone I sat with at dinner. Amazon Eve, Ma Petite, Meep, Paul, Bette and Dot, and you can't forget about Jimmy. I glanced around at the other people at the tables. I noticed a girl sitting by herself. She had blonde hair and was very beautiful. I wanted to go sit with her but I am so shy I wouldn't have enough confidence to introduce myself. When we all finished our breakfast, Eve, Jimmy, and Paul decided it was time to show me my surprise. Eve placed her hands over my eyes and lead the way. "3,2,1 OPEN YOUR EYES!" I slowly open my eyes to see an all white trailer with a little sign painted next to the window that said 'Rainbow Eyes' In the middle of the to words were multicolored eyes that looked a little similar to mine but more cartoonish. "Oh my god! This is amazing! When did you guys have the time to do this?!" "Last night when you went to sleep we found this trailer and decided to make it yours! We like fast work around here!" Eve said with a very proud tone in her voice. "Oh! And we have something else for you!" We all walked over to where all the banners were. Eve pulls out this huge banner that had a portrait of me and at the bottom reading 'Meet the Girl with Rainbow Eyes!' I was so happy that I was finally being apart of something. Not the best thing to be a part of though. A Freak Show. Being judged by your differences. But I didn't care! These people excepted me for who I was and treated me like family. I got my suit case that was in the tent and went over to my trailer. I started to get settled and comfortable into the trailer. Once I was done I decided to take a shower. I haven't taken a nice hot shower in what felt like forever. When I got out of the shower I decided to do my hair and makeup. I liked making myself feel pretty even if it was a simple makeup and hairdo. I wanted to explore the rest of the grounds so off on my adventure I went. I walked around the whole place. When I was on my way back to my trailer, I bumped into a girl. It was the same girl I had seen at dinner. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" She said in a nervous voice. "It's fine! The names Rose-Ann, but you can call me Rose." "Cool. My names Maggie!" "You don't seem like someone who would be apart of a Freak Show. You look perfectly normal to me." "Oh! That's because I'm a Fortune Teller. Come by my tent and I'll give you a free reading!" Fortune Teller? I've never really believed in those things. I can't picture anyone seeing into the future. "Thanks! Well I got to get going... See ya later." Maggie gave me a small wave and we both turned and headed to our places. I was reading a book I had brought with me when all of a sudden I hear a banging at my door. I jumped up in fright then walk over to the door. I open the door to see Jimmy. Not a big surprise! "Hey! Me and the others are going out to eat. Wanna tag along?" "Yea! Definitely! Let's go!" We all piled into a truck and headed into town. At the diner I sat in between Jimmy and Eve. Everyone was looking at us and whispering about us. Some said rude comments to our face. The waitresses were total bitches. I was starting to get nervous and insecure. Eve noticed me and said "Hey! Don't be scared! When your a freak you get picked on all the time! Just stay strong and if they say anything to you, don't worry! I'll handle it!" She winked at me and continued eating her food. I felt a lot better now but I was still a slight bit nervous. This time, Jimmy noticed me and put his arm around me and pulled me close to him for comfort. At that moment I felt butterflies in my stomach and my face getting red. I looked up at Jimmy and I saw him smiling at me. That gave me even more butterflies. He leaned down to my ear and whispered "Meet me at the Ferris wheel at 8:00. Wear something cute." "I'll be there!" I think tonight is going to be a good night!
