3 days before Rona departure

The harsh knocking on his door wakes him up from deep slumber. The comfort from the fluffy pillow and the bed must have lulled him into dreamland. Without opening his eyes, his hands rummaging through the nightstand beside the bed. As he found his watch, he slightly open his eyes to check on the time. Unfortunately, the light from the sun blinds him for a moment and he shut his eyes again. He slowly open his eyes again to suit with his surroundings and looked into the watch to check on the time. He is still sleepy and cannot think rationally for a moment. The past event that happened make him exhausted to the bone.

He props his arms to support his body as he sit up on the bed. He rest his head on the headboard. Taking a deep breathe, he is trying to remember the event that happened before he knocked up on his bed. He then rub his eyes while facing the window from the bed and looking around his rooms trying to knock down the drowsiness that still lingers around him. While trying to rebuke his mind, his eyes closing down slowly.

His body jolt forward at the loud knocking sound from the door to his room. Suddenly, he remembered how he had woke up because of the knocking on his door. Groaning under his breath, he sling his leg down to the carpeted floor and pushed himself up from the comfy bed. He stand up and walked until hes in front of the vanity table. He look at his face in the mirror and checked his appearance for a second.

As the knocking on his door doesnt stop, he walked slowly to the wooden door while ruffling his hair to settle the bird nest that happen while he was sleeping. He grabbed the metal handle and open the door. Unsuprisingly for him, the person who almost knocked down his door is his twin sister. Ignoring his brother, Seokkyung pushed him and walk into the room. Rolling his eyes at her sister, he followed behind her. He saw Seokkyung relaxing herself on the beige-coloured sofa inside his room. Leaning his body to the wall, he asked his sister.

What are you doing here?

Instead of answering the question, she throw a question to him.

Why are you making me knocking at your door for a long time? Seokkyung asked him.

Answer me first. he asked while glaring at her.

You didnt pick up my call. Seokkyung pouted. Besides, we promised to have lunch with Mom. So as a dutiful sister, I come to check on you before our planned lunch.

I just woke up from the knocking on my door. I believe the one who reside the room at the end of the floor can hear you almost knocked down the door. You should be glad that they didnt call the security to take you away. He said while walking to the bed. He sat down at the end of the bed and stare at his sister.

It is your fault then. You didnt read my messages neither answering my calls. I stand in front of your door and knocked for 10 minutes before you open the door. If you are 1 minutes late, I would have run to the receptionist and grabbed a spare key to open the door or called security to knocked it down. She scolded him. She straightened her back, looked at the carpet and sighed.

You made me so scared. I thought that something happened to you while you are alone. With everything that happened, I had a thought that you had fainted in your room from exhaustion.

Before he can say anything, Seokkyung continued and made him stunned for a while.

I only have you and mom now. Eventhough we are not relatively brother and sister, you are my brother by heart. I didnt know what will happened to me if I lose you or Mom again. I would kill myself Seokkyung down her face but Seokhoon can see the tears falling down to her hand that been clenching on her lap.

Since Ive been kidnapped, I realized my mistake. I did tell you about what happened to me physically and you saw the injury. But, you didnt know how I feel burdened by the mistake that I had done. To Mom, Jenny, Aunt Yoonhee, Rona and Seola, my very own twin sister. To be honest, the biggest mistake that I made was believing everything that devil said. She lift up her head then laughs at herself.

Im so stupid. While Im being confined in the middle of nowhere, every single thing that I had done to them came to me like a film. When that devil told me that I was Seola twin sister, I didnt believe him at first. You know why? She turns her head to look at Seokhoon as if asking him for an answer. Before he even get a chance to reply, Seokkyung beat him again.

I cant believe Seola is my twin sister. The twin sister that I bullied, tormented and made her live a living hell. I try to deny that I bully and almost murdered her. The reality of all the things that I had done to her kills me inside. It kills me to know the person who shared a womb with me, almost died because of me. She sobbed.

The things that I had done to Bae Rona and Aunt Yoonhee, the way I treated them before. I cant imagine if I had to be in their shoes. I will be devastated. When you told me that Aunt Yoonhee died because she got to know that I am Moms daughter. It breaks my heart apart. It makes sense Rona didnt forgive me. Because of me she have a hard time in school, because of me she lost her mother. The sin that I had done to them is too big. Im angry and disgusted at myself. Im unworthy to call myself Moms daughter. She cry harder and starts hitting her chest like the pain are there.

Seokhoon sit next to his sister and embraced her. He put her head on his shoulder as she continued crying. The shirt hes wearing wets because of her tears that fall like a waterfall. To be honest, he is glad that his sister had told him all the things that had burdened her. She willingly open her heart to his brother. He know that it takes a lot of courage from her to tell him all of this. He pats her back until her cries subsided.

Seokkyung, thank you for telling me this. Believe me when I say, you will never be alone. Mom and I will always be with you. Yes, you did a lot of wrong things but you admit to your fault. Im sure that you wouldnt do anythings like you did before. I believe in you, Mom believe in you too. We love you very much Seokkyung. You worth much more than you think. Seokhoon assure his sister while wiping her tears on her face.

Now, lets dont waste time. Ill go take a bath and freshened up quickly. We had to pick up the food and meet Mom at the hospital. Seokhoon smile and said.

With that being said, he then grabbed the white towel and headed straight to the washroom. Before he closed the door, he shouted at Seokkyung.

Wash your face and reapply your makeup while Im in the shower.

As he done freshened up in 15 minutes, he decided on wearing a simple outfit for the day, a black jacket with a white shirt underneath and a black jeans. He looked upon himself in the mirror. As he is satisfied with his appearance, he walked towards the sofa that Seokkyung sit on.

Lets go meet Mom.
