BBQ

After a quick walk along the beach, Rona was picked up by her mother, Seokkyung and Eunbyeol to do some grocery shopping. They were going to have a BBQ on the patio of Logan's villa. Seokhoon walked over to Logan's villa which was about a 10 minutes walk from their villa. "Appa, I am here. Is there anything you both need help with?" "Oh hello son, yes you can come and help set up the BBQ grill and all, Dongpil samcheon is outside already, so assist him." Mari, Sangah and Suryeon were in the kitchen cutting and preparing other dishes - like soup and rice.

"Sure omma, where is Appa?" Seokhoon asked. "Oh he got a call from secretary Kim, must be something work related, he is in the bedroom taking the call." Seokhoon walked out to the patio and saw Dongpil setting up the two grills for dinner later on.

Seokhoon went over to help him, "Hey Seokhoon, thanks. So how are you and Rona?" He asked as they were working. "We are good samcheon, she is doing much better. She has been smiling and relaxing a lot more. I think coming back to Korea was a good idea. It removes her from the place where the incident happened." "That is good, Rona is a strong girl, she has gone through much, I know with you by her side, she can stand up again. Did everything okay again at the doctor? I heard from your mother that after you came back to Seoul, you both visited another gynecologist again?"

"Yes, even though we saw one already when we were in Milan, we just wanted a second opinion on everything - from her scans to the blood test. Luckily, as the doctor said in Milan; Rona's scans are all good, there is no tissue damage and her blood results are good - not hormonal problems and anything like that. I think hearing the same words from the doctor in Seoul just reassured Rona and I again of everything." "Does Rona still blame herself?" Seokhoon paused, thinking, "At times I believe she does, there are moments where I catch her looking at a child on the street or she kind of dazes into space. I can't help but think she is reliving that all over again. But I guess the good thing is that she does not keep it inside of her, she does tell me and we talk about it - we hug and cry it out."

"That is good Seokhoon, no loss disappears overnight, much less one that you never anticipated. Rona looks much better, Jenny tells me that Rona told her that she has accepted what has happened, and even though she still thinks about the What Ifs, it doesn't consume her like it did before. So be confident Seokhoon, you are doing the right thing for your wife." "Thank you samcheon, I am really grateful for Jenny and Mari ahjumah as well, they have taken time out to spend time with Rona since we have been back. I think it has done much good for her." "There is no need to thank Seokhoon, we are all one big family. We have gone through much together - fighting the devil and such, nothing else can break this bond."

About an hour later, Yoonhee and the rest had returned from grocery shopping, they bought a lot of meat. Yoochul and Logan were working the grill, while everyone else was eating. Occasionally, Suryeon and Yoohee would feed their husbands as they kept grilling the meat. The dinner carried on and laughter could be heard late into the night. At about 12am, the party began to disperse and they each respectively headed back to their villa.
