He saw a picture of himself and Rona - by the outfit in the picture it was when they were still in high school. This was a shot taken at one of the festivals Chungah had every year, although this wasn't a couple shot, Seokhoon and Rona were clearly standing beside each other in the picture. Underneath the picture were the words
"When we first met, to be honest I was not sure what to make of you."
Next to the words was an arrow pointing to the left, Seokhoon turned to the direction of the arrow, he continued to walk further into the villa. One the left wall in the living room, was another image - of Seokhoon and Rona during the Chungah competition - it was a casual shot of the whole group that was taken by a photographer. In that shot, Seokhoon saw that he was staring and looking in Rona's direction.
"Yet, unexpectedly we became closer."
About one metre from this picture was another one, this time it was the very first picture Seokhoon and Rona took when they were together. He remembers the day this was taken, it was the evil had been purged from Hera Place, the group had a farewell party for Seokhoon and Rona before they flew to New York. In it, Rona was dressed in a beautiful floral cream dress while Seokhoon was matching her wearing a beige suit.
"We both became stronger because of the struggles we went through. You were my knight in shining armour."
An arrow was pointing to the right, Seokhoon turned to follow the direction, on the other side on the kitchen counter were three pictures of Seokhoon and Rona framed. They were pictures of them when they were in New York, one was an image of them with their classmates, the next one was a picture of their first kiss in New York, and the last was a picture of their graduation from Juillard.
"You have given me so many wonderful memories, I owe you so much."
There was a card on the kitchen counter with the instructions to head towards the staircase. He then turned towards the staircase and saw another picture of Seokhoon and Rona. This was their first picture of their first official performance together (as two professionals). Rona was in a stunning pink silk dress and he was in a tuxedo with a bowtie.
"We both have achieved our dreams, and yet there is so much more I dream about achieving with you."
Seokhoon walked up the stairs, and on the wall of the staircase, there were three pictures. The first one was of their performance in Korea, the second was their engagement photoshoot and the last one was of their wedding.
"When you proposed you asked me to give you the blessing of being your wife, but you have also given me the blessing of being my husband."
"When we married, you said I was the axis of your life and that no matter what happens in life, we will face them together. You have delivered on that promise every single day"
Seokhoon had tears in his eyes, as he made his way towards the bedroom, beside the door to the bedroom was the last picture - it was a collection of photos, all of them on their honeymoon. Seokhoon was sniffing and trying his best to hold back his tears as he read the words underneath it.
"My dear husband, you have been my axis. When I was in pain, you scooped me up and took me into your arms comforting me and reminding me of your love. When I was happy, you celebrated with me. When I think of love, I think of you. When I think of the future, you are all that I see. You are all I need. Thank you Seokhoon-ah, I love you very much."
With tears rolling down his face, Seokhoon proceeded to open the door and there in front of him was Rona. Her hair down, her face with light makeup - but her lips were painted with a shade of red. She was absolutely beautiful, standing there in a red lingerie dress. Seokhoon felt his blood boil at the same time.
