Sometimes sickness helps too

It's been a few days after the Galar trip. Chloe has been talking sweetly to Ash too which didn't went unnoticed by Ash. He asked Goh about but don't get any good reason for this. So, he decided to ignore it for the time being. He has been training more and now his rank is 92. Goh, on the other hand, is always catching pokemon. Whenever he gets time, he goes out for increasing his pokemon family. Chloe asked him to go to school since his grade is dropping which he pretty ignored as always. But after a good scolding from Chloe, he decided to go to school and now he goes to school with Chloe. Chloe is now actually less confused because she sees that Goh spend very less time with her. He always is more excited about Pokemon than her whereas Ash is always there, if she wants somebody to talk with and she could now trust him fully. So, she sees Ash as better friend than Goh but still from the past time in her life, she got confused. But today, Chloe has gotten up but she doesn't seem that good as always. But she decided to ignore it and got ready for school. She went to lab with her dad. She enters the kitchen to feed Eevee but not was feeling herself hungry. She decided to skip breakfast.

Chloe: Hi Goh&Ash!!
Boys: Hello Chloe!!

Chloe went inside and released Eevee from her pokeball. She give a happy cry and sat on the floor waiting for Chloe to put some food for her. Chloe did as Eevee wanted. Eevee immediately started eating her food. Chloe then, went and sit on the chair.

Goh: We should go by my plan, it would be better.
Ash: No, you should listen to me.
Chloe: What happened?? On what matter,you both are arguing??
Ash: We were discussing what should we do this weekend. Goh was saying to go to Saffron city for catching pokemon. But I suggested to be on a break on Saturday and then, on Sunday should go to Pewter city but he is not listening to me. Now, you suggest what should we do??
Chloe: I think Ash is right. You should get a break in between, you always run away whenever we three should spend time.
Goh(sighs): Okay, I will be on a break as Ash said. But I think Chloe as you are spending more time with Ash, you are thinking he is always right.

Chloe got angry when Goh said that. She immediately stood from her chair and run to hit Goh. Goh regret after saying that but he knew right knew, it is better to run. Ash was silently watching the two. At last, Goh got a good beating from Chloe. Chloe was panting hard after that, she doesn't know why.

Ash: Chloe, are you okay??( he move towards Chloe)
Goh: Oww, I think she is okay as she is able to hit me.
Chloe: Yeah, I ma okay but only a litt-

Chloe got dizzy and started to fall but Ash caught her in the nick of a time. Chloe got unconcious. Ash and Goh both tried to wake Chloe but failed. They decided that Ash should carry her to room while Goh hoes and call professor. They did as planned. Ash carried Chloe bridal style upstairs to his room. Goh told the professor that Chloe got unconscious while talking to them and Ash carried her upstairs. Professor called the doctor and went upstairs to check on her daughter. He saw that Chloe is unconcious on the bed and ash is sitting beside her. He went and sit beside her daughter and checked her fore-head, only to find that she is having a high fever. Ash stood up to give some space to professor for sitting. Then, all the people were in the room. After sometime, the doctor came and checked upon her. She prescribed some medicine and Goh went to take the medicines. All the people went downstairs except Ash as he sat there if Chloe wakes up and she needed anything. After about half an hour, Goh also came with the medicines. He asked if Chloe woke up to which Ash said no. With that Goh also left to feed the pokemon, Ash sat there; Pikachu was with Eevee calming her down as she has not seen her trainer in this condition.

After 2 hrs

Ash was sitting there only and not gotten up from his position. Eevee and Pikachu were sleeping on the bed beside Chloe. Goh and the other people were downstairs continuing there work as they know Ash is there for Chloe. Chloe soon started waking up. She groggily opened her eyes and look out at the surrounding and recognized it as the room in the lab.She also remembered that she is in Ash's bed which made her blush. She saw beside her bed,on the chair; Ash was sleeping peacefully. She tried to get up but she didn't have that energy. She groaned from the body and head ache, she was suffering from. Ash woke up from the sound and saw Chloe trying to get up. Pikachu and Eevee also got up. Eevee after seeing Chloe getting up jumped into her arms but only to get a painful groan from her. She looked at her worriedly.

Ash: There there, Chloe relax. You have just woken up after 2 hours of unconscious.
Chloe(wide eyed): 2 hours??
Ash: Yes, when you were telling me that you are okay, you got passed out due to high fever. So, Professor called the doctor and she said you should get some rest and medicines. You will be fine in one day.
Chloe: So, how am I here??
Ash: I carried you when you passed out while Goh went to call the professor. But now have this soup which will be better for your health.
Chloe(blushing): Okay

Chloe then, tried to take the soup but was not able to due pain in her arms.

Chloe(paining): Aah.... How will I drink this soup if I cannot pick the spoon??
Ash: Don't worry, I will feed you.
Chloe: No, you don't have to do that for me. I will manage.
Ash: No problem, plus it will be better if you give those strong arms a little rest.

With that, he start feeding Chloe soup with spoon. Chloe was blushing the whole time that her first crush is feeding her. Ash notices that Chloe's cheeks are red and checked if she had fever. She was perfectly fine. Then, Chloe lay down peacefully on the bed and went to sleep. While Ash went downstairs to keep the bowl in the kitchen and also told professor Cerise and Goh that Chloe is alright but has a slight body ache. Ash then, went upstairs to see Chloe sleeping peacefully.

Ash(thinking): Looks like she slept. I have to admit that she is pretty cute and beaut- .... What am I saying?? What has happened to me?? I never had such thoughts about any girl.

He started thinking why he was feeling like this. He thought about it for a pretty while and come to a conclusion, he has to talk about this to his mom. After 2-3 hrs Chloe woke up and was perfectly fine. Everyone was was happy to see Chloe as good as always. Cerise also told her that Ash was there for her the whole time from the time she passed out to the time she woke up. Chloe thanked Ash and hugged him. Ash blushed and just rubbed his back of head, laughing sheepishly. Chloe has decided that Ash is the perfect boy for her. Then, Chloe went to her home.
