Laurie never was a big fun of birthdays up to the moment she met Andy. Ever since then, she was more than happy to celebrate them especially with him. Since their college years he would never fail to make her smile. The moment she got with Andy she loved birthdays.

Collage Years

"Give me a moment!" Laurie yelled inside her dorm in the campus. She opened the door and smiled softly the moment her eyes met Andy's behind the door "Delivery for miss Gold" he said and she laughed softly "thank you!" she said softly and gave him a kiss on the lips. "Happy birthday babe" he said and she smiled softly at him. "Thank you" she said

"Wanna come in?" She asked "I don't have a class until later and I thought maybe-" she stopped the moment she felt his arms around her. "So, I am gonna take you out tonight, you need a break, plus it's your birthday so you deserve that love" he said

"Okay okay fine" she agreed " you win, let's go" she said "yes! I knew I could persuade you" he said and she laughed. "You know I used to hate birthdays" she said while they were on her bed "but with you they same better" she said softly making him smile, "I'm happy that I make you feel that way" he said softly

She leaned into him sighing, "well I'm glad that it's you" she said "but know how I have to study and you too, my notes aren't always going to be helpful" she said and he laughed "your notes are always helpful babe" he said and she laughed

Two years into marriage

The alarm went off for the second time in the day. Laurie rolled over to closer it and then back into Andy's arms "good morning" she mumbled softly against his chest "good morning" he replied half asleep kissing her forehead.

"I love you birthday girl" he whispered against her forehead. "I love you too" she smiled softly. "We got to get up" she mumbled, "you have to be in the DA office and I've got to go to school" she said.

"Fine fine,  birthday dinner tonight" he said kissing her before getting up to get dressed. "Alright" she smiled softly. "See you later" she said against his lips. "See you later" he smiled softly.

"There you are!" he said later that night leading her in the kitchen table "yeah"she said softly " come on take a seat" he said as he took the seat next to her.
"So" she said as they were eating " I got to say something" she said softly "what's up?" he asked "so I'm pregnant" she said softly smiling "oh my god" he said "are you happy?" she asked "of course babe!" he shared.

With 3 years old Jacob

"Happy birthday mommy!" three year old Jacob yelled softly jumping on the bed his mama slept in. "Thank you baby!" she smiled softly kissing his forehead as he handed her the card he and Andy had made for her "thank you it's beautiful" she said softly

"Where's daddy?" she asked Jacob but before he could answer her Andy got in the tray of breakfast "well, daddy is here, happy birthday mommy" he told her softly giving her a kiss "we are grateful you're our girl" he said putting the tray in front of her and taking the place next to her picking Jacob in his arms. "thank you, I love you" she smiled softly

The three of them spent their day together laughing and doing activities together. That was a birthday laurie was gonna remember.

After the trial

Andy walked down the path of the gravestones until he reached the one that belonged to his wife. He got on his knees changed her flowers. "Hey babe" he sighed softly running his fingers on her gravestone. "I'm sorry that I haven't s been visiting that often" he apologized "I miss you so much" he shared "only if you knew" he said. " I really love you" he said smiling.

"Happy birthday sweetheart" he said "I'm missing you, a lot" he shared "I hope that you're having a nice time up there" he said "Jake's being well to be exact, he misses you" he said softly " I love you baby" he said softly smiling up at the sky.

He got up from up and walk back home. Without her he felt emptier, everyone could notice that. Everyone could notice he was a while different person and that he did miss his wife with whom he was his entire life with. But he would soon meet her.
