So, I think a few people are going to say. "Yes, he was nice to Charlie when she was young until she opened the idea of the hotel." Well, I think Lucifer actually didn't mean what he said to Charlie about the hotel. I think it was just a outburst and he didn't mean it. Tying this my 'Charlie will be able to go to Heaven' theory, then Lucifer would have tried to disencourage the idea of redeeming sinners but it never worked so when Charlie finally asked her dad why he didn't support the idea, he said it was a waste of time. That lead into a argument and he accidentally let his anger and protective side tell her that no one would even try her stupid idea and she needs to start living a real life and not a fantasy. That would cause Charlie to run away crying and Lucifer not believing what he just said. I feel like if Lucifer would actually try and be a better dad than he felt like his dad was with him and Lilith. That would try and let Charlie let her believe whatever she wanted. But, with her angelic side still being apart of her genes.

Lucifer wouldn't want to lose his only daughter to Heaven and God. He would probably never tell Charlie about her ability to be both angelic and demonic. Lucifer absolutely loves Charlie and wants to protect her the best he could. But he never meant to hurt her.
